A review from thefanof over 5? Amazing. I guess there was no "skylar" holding him back.

But truly, one of the greatest season finales of all time. The ending music was absolutely amazing and perfectly chosen. My mind started to go crazy with speculation and nothing else would take up my attention for the rest of that day and for days to follow. I saw Transformers 4 that day because I had no other real choices but I could only think about POI. Amazing. Simply amazing. Pure quality television.moreless

The war is on as the old Brit said ... that war will have limited space 4 Finch John Shaw to help, I so excited with the finale that I can't wait 2 say let the games begin.

The concept of the trial was way too over the top, and I don't like the prospects for next season based on how this episode ended, but overall it was fairly enjoyable. Solid finale.
  • excellent season, amazing season finale!

This episode was simply brilliant. It had me on the edge through out the entire hour. What will happen now that the team had to be separated? And what about Fusco? Why was he spared by Samaritan? I have so many questions that unfortunately will not be answered until the fall. God, I hate to have to wait that long!

    • Collier: Senator, you denied any knowledge of Northern Lights, yet your name appears in these documents some 37 times. Now how do you explain that?
Garrison: Maybe you shouldn't believe everything you read on the Internet.

    • Control: Where you were when Flight 77 hit the Pentagon? Because I was inside it. I carried out the wounded. I covered up bodies. and I have spent every day since putting bullets in the people responsible and in anyone else who even thinks that they can do that to our country again. You want to shoot me because I had to tap a phone calls, read a few e-mails, then you go right ahead. But you'd better turn that gun on yourself next, Mr. Collier, because you have broken just as many laws, and the only difference is I didn't wrap myself up in the American flag and try to convince people I was a hero.
Collier: I believe you love your country. I believe that when you started, people thought what you were doing made a lot of sense. But it's gone too far and it has to stop.

    • Collier: You built it? One man is responsible for the most invasive surveillance technology in the world?
      Finch: I'm good with computers.

    • Collier: You expect us to believe you gave one thought about people's rights as you were building the government a weapon of mass surveillance?
      Finch: Not a weapon.
Collier: What else would you call it?
Finch: I would call it the best I could do.

    • Hersh: Oh, dear. I think I might be in over my head.
Reese: I'm a little busy myself.
Hersh: Unless you're looking at a big-ass bomb wired to blow off when the power comes on, I think I win.

    • Finch: (after being shot) Why would you ever choose a career where this is an occupational hazard?
Reese: Well, I tried to quit. But some jackass told me I needed a purpose.

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Greer: "In action, how like an angel. In apprehension, how like a god."
