This show has had regular 2-3 week breaks from the next episode.. I mean, what's the deal here? Can't they just show this series on a regular basis without the anoying breaks inbetween. Most other shows I know don't have this problem.

There's 22 episodes this season and 35 weeks. How can they manage that without breaks?

I don't know what shows you watch, but most network shows go on hiatus during the holidays. last night was the first original episode of several CBS programs. If the Eye again airs the Final Four, expect another break at the end of March Madness. Though Sandy knocked out a few days of filming Warner Brothers expects it to stay on schedule. The breaks were planned before the storm and are a part of every CBS show. Even in the Sixties, before TV was so expensive, a regular season was only about 26 episodes.

There is an upcoming two-week hiatus after the next episode ("Prisoner's Dilemma") airs on 1/10/13. After that, four new episodes will air in consecutive weeks, followed by another break.

I absolutely hate it when shows have breaks between episodes, but then again, who doesn't? It's just something we have to deal with.

I hate it when there's a break and the comeback episode is nothing special, you wait some extra weeks and all you get is some mediocre episode.

Nothing to reward you for waiting. But I'm cheering my self up with the thought that British shows have only a handful of episodes per season and breaks between seasons is unbearably long for those shows. So things could be a lot worse.
