Ayaka seems to figure out in the "exploding cake" scene that the ghost (that she faced down) in the exhibit was the same as Ogawa's dead boyfriend/ the guy from Mamoru's research from the internet. Was it just sloppy writing that has Ayaka not "get" that fact until the exorcism scene with Rokkan?
Mamoru: (yelling to a snoozing Ayaka) Hey lady! Your number's up! Are you gonna sing or not? You're gonna lose your place in line- there's other people waiting, ya know?!
Ayake:(sticks her hand out) Microphone.
Mamoru: (hands her a hairbrush) Go for it.
Secretary: What do you want with her (Ogawa)? She's way too young for a man of your experience.
Nakasuki: I've gained that experience by breaking through all the silly levels of a woman's resistance and independence. It's the suffering that sweetens the attraction. That hidden desire to be totally taken by love.
(After walking in, unknowingly, on Nakasuki and his secretary)
Kirano:(smiles at Ayaka) Hot action!
Ayaka: (sighs, rolls eyes) Grow up.
Ayaka: Rancid, paracitic monster of the world, walking dead who tortures the living, the president of Phantom Quest has arrived. Hellish monster, prepare to meet your doom!
Rokkan: Stop fighting it (the exorcism) and go to Heaven-NOW!
(The morning after getting drunk with Narita)
Karino: (to Ayaka) How many times do I have to tell you: you can't drink cold sake like it's iced tea.
Karino: Hey, Miss Ayaka- you know what? I just heard they went and released that Nakasuki character today.
Ayaka: What the hell are you talking about?!!
Karino: Well, not exactly 'released'; the tax people got him. It seems that guy has been embezzling money from the department store for years, and they just now caught on.
Ayaka: And accounts payable is frozen, right?
Karino: That's what they usually do.
When Ayaka is waking up, the sequence starts with the Kiss of Fire's bedside table sequence and then mixes KoF field of alarm clocks and End of the World's hanging alarm clocks.
The music Mamoru uses to wake-up Ayaka is the show's opening theme.
The episode title is also the title of a romantic Elvis Presley song.
