When Phil (as Lloyd) offers Mr. Hackett some Shirley Temple, Hackett declines, saying that he wishes "to keep his wits about". But Shirley Temple is a non-alcoholic drink, so Hackett couldn't have possibly lost his "wits" from drinking that.
Goof: When Curtis told Phil and Keely that Barbara and Lloyd went to see the premiere of "Romeo and Juliet," Phil asked when they would be back, Curtis said there was an intermission. Back then, Shakespeare's plays never had an intermission.
Goof: At the end of the show, the time donut has dumped everyone back to just before Mr. Hackett shows up. However, the next time we see Curtis, he is still dressed from his trip to find Lloyd and Barbara.
Pim states that the Diffy's house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Goof: When Curtis comes out from underneath the sink (where he was hiding for a hide-n-seek game that he and Phil were playing 3 days ago), you can see that there is no plumbing beneath the sink.
Keely: Guess what! I got us tickets to a sneak preview of "Samurai Love You". Phil : Ooh, Samurai-don't-think-so; it sounds like a chick-flick. I'm out. Keely: Come on, I went to that science fiction movie and sat through two and a half hours of you going "Wrong, wrong, wrong!" Phil: But it was all wrong!
Lloyd: Pim, let it go. Pim: Vice Principal is our next-door neighbor. I will NEVER let it go.
When Phil's outfit is changed to a leather jacket outfit, it resembles Fonzie's outfit from "Happy Days." Phil also makes the comment, "Whay are my thumbs up?" which refers to Fonzie again, since he is known for doing that gesture.
