Kathleen's compassionate heart makes her look bad when an accused felon crashes on her couch. The gf attorney of Kathleen's judge ex-husband is only all-too-human when she sees a chance to crush her rival and then relents. It's up to Kathleen's slick and smarmy co-defender to smooth things over with gf. Will's hot for the blonde ADA. The blonde ADA manipulates a better outcome from the Judge.
Meanwhile, Kathleen has another Hispanic client who doesn't know when he's well off. He's already been lucky in getting murder 3 instead of murder 1 when he kills an old lady. However, the con's going for broke and won't take the great deal Kathleen's bargained for him. The con's attitude is all wrong as he blames the victim and says the old doll was asking for it. This episode hits all the high notes and legal subtleties. Terry Loomis delivers his usual grating but noble performance.moreless
