It is noted in this episode that Linda Flynn and Lawrence Fletcher knew each other and dated when they were teenagers. But there would have to be more to the history of their relationship, because since Lawrence is Phineas and Candace's stepfather, he and Linda would have to have been married to different people before marrying each other.
When Doofenshmirtz shows Perry the pictures of Vanessa's past birthdays, in one picture he is riding on a pony similar to the one Isabella rode in The Magnificent Few.
Phineas says the title of the episode during the song You're Fabulous.
While in the den, if you look closely on the wall, there are pictures of Phineas and Ferb's grandparents' houses, the one near the lake and the Fletchers' in England.
Jeremy first spoke to Candace on June 3rd, when they were together in 7th grade.
Goof: The band members' costumes change during the episode. In the beginning, Danny's vest has no shirt underneath, but later in the episode it has a purple long-sleeve underneath. Also, if you watch closely during the You're Fabulous scene, you can see that Bobbi's costume on the replica stage is a checkered shirt with gloves, unlike the costume during other parts of the episode.
Goof: During the song, Ain't Got Rhythm, Swampy's earring occasionally switches from the left ear to the right.
At the end, during the Love Händel concert, there are many minor characters from past episodes scattered in the crowd. These include the band that played My Nemesis song in "It's About Time!", some of the hairdressers from Bobbi Fabulous's salon, a model from "Run Away Runway", and Mrs. Garcia-Shapiro.
Goof: When Doofenshmirtz is showing Vanessa her party, his party hat is green. But when he is firing the ray gun at Perry, the hat momentarily changes to pink. After that short part, the hat changes back to green.
Goof: When Love Händel is performing, one shot shows Phineas and Candace cheering them with their arms raised. In the next closeup shot, Candace embraces Phineas as he's holding a camcorder. Afterward, in the faraway shot, the two have their arms raised cheering and the camcorder is gone.
This is the first time that we don't get to see where Perry enters his hideout from, however it is shown that one passage is underneath the birdbath, which has never been seen until now.
Isabella and the Fireside Girls have now become expectant of how to help Phineas with his plans.
Goof: Early in the episode, Lawrence says it's Thursday, but when Candace comes out, the date of their parents' anniversary is listed on a Tuesday, from her calendar, which has 31 days in June instead of 30. And when she flips back to May, the first of that month is listed on a Tuesday like June 1st. However, that would be incorrect as the 1st of the previous month should be on a Saturday and the May 31st should be on a Monday.
Jaret Reddick not only provided the voice of Danny in this episode but his band, Bowling for Soup, performed the theme song for this series.
The drummer of Love Handel was named Swampy. This is a reference to the creator of this show, Jeff "Swampy" Marsh.
The Flynn-Flecther's wedding anniversary is June 15.
(During the "History of Rock" song, Danny is playing guitar in front of a psychedelic background)
Phineas: So what's this?
Danny: This is Psychedelia. It's where the guitar solo came from.
Phineas: No. I mean what's with all the colors?
Danny: (pauses) I have no idea.
Phineas: Hey Dad! Can we help?
Dad: Well, I'm afraid not. Unless you can perform miracles.
Phineas: What's your budget?
Phineas: (as Ferb readies the mace) Not yet, Ferb.
Vanessa: (after the rocket scorches the self-storage facility and makes the party just right for her) Thanks, Dad. You finally got one right.
Danny: GOOD NIGHT TRI-STATE AREA!
Doofenshmirtz: Curse you, Perry the plat... wait, is that Love Handel?
Ferb: (to his father via the megaphone) Well don't just stand there. Kiss her!
Ferb: (after the Fabulous song) May we take that as a yes?
Songs: History of Rock, Fabulous, Ain't Got Rhythm, You Snuck Your Way Right Into My Heart, and Music Makes Us Better.
The song "I Ain't Got Rhythm" was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics.
The show's theme song ("Today is Gonna Be a Great Day" by Bowling for Soup) was also nominated for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music that same year.
The Love Händel band members are named Bobbi, Danny, and Swampy (Sherman). The names likely refer to Bobby Gaylor (voice of Buford and writer of several episodes), and Phineas and Ferb creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh.
At the end of the song History of Rock, Ferb, playing the drums, has the appearance of Slash from the band Guns 'N Roses.
