  • By far my favorite P and F episode.

    10
This episode was crappy and absolutly humorless. That is why I rated it a 10. Seriously, this episode was the exact opposite of what I just said. I liked this episode plot, and the introduction of Norm. I liked how that one kid came in and watched Dr. Doofenzsmertz's plan, thinking it was a real 3-D movie. I liked the humor of the chariot race. I especially like the part were Baljeet used his head and Buford's strange attacks to the other competetors, and how Candace somehow got herself involved in the race.

Overall, this is my favorite Phineas and Ferb episode. I give it a perfect A+.moreless
  • After a trip to the museum, the kids get the idea to hold a chariot race through town. Also, Doofenshmirtz builds a giant mechanical man to destroy Perry.

    9.5
This is one of the best episodes of the series! Great setup in the museum, great amount of action, great connection between the two stories (P&F / Perry). Fantastic camera angles and different views throughout the road race, too. Tons of connections to small comments earlier in the episode, as well, like the Medusa references and Candace's chariot and helmet, ect. Also, Isabella's comment on there being no rules, leading to her and the girls cheating during the race. The best, of course, being the Minotaur comments early on, and Norm showing up later on in the ep. Overall, a great episode. Grade : Amoreless
  • 100th REVIEW!

    8.8
I'm soooooo glad this is my 100th review! I have'nt even been on this website for over a year. Now to the show episode. And, I love that song. "My chairot" I just loved it! And, the line,

    "Your goin' down!"

"But, we're on the same team!"

"Then, your goin' down with me!"

That was the funnist line! And, how Candance thought she turn Norm into stone! "The enemy of the platapus is man!" And, the Paul Bunyan theme song,

"Paul Bunyan; Pancake house. But not to good eh'"

I love that theme song. So, the end of the 100th review! I can't belive it! I'm so happy!moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (10)

    • When the kids are chanting for Phineas and Ferb at the museum in the end of the episode, they chant the same thing as from "Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror"

    • Goof: When Isabella first appears, she addresses Lawrence as Mr. Flynn. But his real last name is Fletcher.

    • This is the second episode to use real live-action images, the first being "Rollercoaster".

    • Goof: The veins in the eyes of the Candace mobile disappears and reappears when Candace is rolling down the hill.

    • When the teenager in the movie theater takes popcorn from Dr. Doofenshmirtz; in the next scene, his popcorn bag is full.

    • In the beginning of the movie that is shown in the theater, the narrator seems to not know what the plural for platypus is. But, towards the end, he says platypuses.

    • A running joke in this episode is that no one seems to know what the plural of 'platypus' is. In English, there is no official plural of the word, as most scientists either use 'platypuses', 'platypi', or 'platypus'.

    • One of Norm's lines near the end of the episode is "Secretly, I'm very lonely." In "Dude, We're Gettin' the Band Back Together!", Bobby Fabulous says the same thing.

    • Song: My Chariot.

    • An elevator music version of Phineas and Ferb's one hit wonder Gitchee Gitchee Goo was playing as Perry entered the movie theatre.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Major Monogram: We've just received word that Doofenshmirtz is constructing a machine designed to rid the world of platypuses, er, platypi, er, platypeople? Whatever.

    • (After Buford tries to slice up Phineas and Ferb's chariot)
Phineas: (To Ferb) Remind me, why did we put spikes on Buford's chariot? (Buford laughs evilly)
Candace: Reckless endangerment, disrupting traffic! Oooh, they are so busted! (Buford launches another weapon)
Phineas: And a bowling ball catapult?!? I mean what were we thinking?

    • Phineas: (After Candace runs away) It's okay, Ferb. She's gone. You can look now.
Ferb: No, not taking any chances.
      Phineas: Hey, look, there's Perry.
      Ferb: Still not looking.

    • Phineas: (Seeing the giant robot with a bull head) It's half-man half-bull. It's the Minotaur!
Norm: (Robotic voice) My name is Norm.
Phineas It's Norm, the Minotaur! Hit it, Ferb!

    • Phineas: (During the chariot race) Why'd we give them all the cool stuff? What do we have? (Ferb pushes a button) Cup holders? Sweet, now we're cookin'!

    • Candace: (About getting compared to her Medusa chariot) Oh, that's ridiculous. I do not have wheels.

    • Buford: (Right before the chariot race was about to start) Hey, you, you're goin' down.
Bajeet: But we're on the same team.
Buford: Then you're goin' down with me.

    • Candace: (At the Greece statue exhibit) I can't believe you guys dragged me all the way over here for this. (Sighs) Well, at least there's hunky guys in skirts.

  • NOTES (1)
