Based on the fact that a platypus doesn't do very much, Phineas and Ferb create a wooden toy version of Perry to sell to a toy company. Meanwhile, the real Perry heads off to stop Doofenshmirtz from building the Great Wall of the Tri-State Area and starting up toll booths at the only exits. I thought this episode was perfect. There were no boring parts so that's means I didn't got bored with it. The main plot was really interesting. There were some parts I liked/laughed such as the song at the beginning, Phineas and Ferb making toy wooden of Perry, then doing for a makeover, the commercial, Candace talking like a chimpnunk, and a couple others. Overall a perfect episode. 10/10moreless

    7.8
Candace gets a job at a toy store and phineas and ferb see a very popular toy. that inspires them to make a toy. ferb creates an idea which is an "inaction figure" of their pet platypus perry. it becames popular cuz it does nothing. phineas changes the toy factory do it becames fun ( but babyish). candace realizes this and wants to bust phineas and ferb. but as soon as she gets her mom, well, i forget how it dissapears but phineas and ferb some out on top. plz visit my profile and comment on the blog. this is so my reviews 100 words.moreless

    • Hairspray (2007)

The Har 'D' Har Hut is the same store name as the one in the 2007 remake of the movie Hairspray.

    • The Emperor's New Clothes
The CEO thinks he's wearing a new suit, but is, in fact, only wearing his underwear. This is a reference to Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Emperor's New Clothes". A vain Emperor was swindled into thinking his new suit was made of a special material that not everyone can see. He was too vain to admit that he couldn't see it and walked around naked. Lastly, like the young boy did in the story, Ferb says that he notices the CEO is only wearing his underwear.

    • Ren & Stimpy:

At the end of the episode, the toy company advertises plain red bricks as if they were cool toys. This is similar to a series of parodic toy commercials in the cartoon show Ren & Stimpy, where a plain wooden log was advertised as a cool toy.

    • Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory(1971)

The factory, the workers, and Phineas' clothes are all references to this movie, staring Gene Wilder.

    • The chocolate river and "Badinka Dinkas" are references to the "Oompa-Loompas" from the book and movie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

    • Title: Toy to the World It is also a take on the song, Joy To the World, by Three Dog Night.

    • Title: Toy to the World

The title of this episode, Toy to the World, is a spoof of the Christmas carol, Joy to the World.
