Recurring Role |
This marks the first time Monogram called Perry by his real name instead of Agent P.
One of the variations of the inaction figure was "The Mad Marauding Marsupial of Death". But platypuses are not marsupials, they are monotremes.
Musical Songs: Toy Factory, Shimmy Jimmy
Isabella does not appear in this episode.
J.B.: (to Phineas and Ferb about their toy) We'll put you both in charge and double you salary. What do you say?
Phineas: Actually, we never made a salary.
J.B.: Well, then I'll triple it!
Phineas:We're going home.
J.B.:Bu-bu-bu-but why? You're at the top of your game! You've got your whole career ahead of you.
Phineas: It's suppertime. Mom's making fried chicken!
Candace:(about her job) This is so not worth $3.50 an hour.
Jeremy:Hey Candace, the things we have to wear. At least you don't have a weenie on your head.
Candace:(sighs)He understands me.
Phineas: (sees Perry in his secret agent costume) What did I say people? He does nothing!
(Candace is wearing a Perry suit)
Toy Store Owner: Fantastic, Candace! You look like number one!
Candace: I feel like number two.
J.B.: Aren't you a little young to be toy designers?
Phineas: I don't think so.
Doofenshmirtz: Behold! A perfect 1:100 scale model of the tri-state area! (Pause) I have a lot of free time on my hands.
Phineas: Now who would buy a brick?
Ferb: It does absolutely nothing.
Company President: Who likes my new suit?
(Board members agree with him)
Ferb: Um, that man isn't wearing any clothes.
Hairspray (2007)
The Har 'D' Har Hut is the same store name as the one in the 2007 remake of the movie Hairspray.
The Emperor's New Clothes
The CEO thinks he's wearing a new suit, but is, in fact, only wearing his underwear. This is a reference to Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Emperor's New Clothes". A vain Emperor was swindled into thinking his new suit was made of a special material that not everyone can see. He was too vain to admit that he couldn't see it and walked around naked. Lastly, like the young boy did in the story, Ferb says that he notices the CEO is only wearing his underwear.
Ren & Stimpy:
At the end of the episode, the toy company advertises plain red bricks as if they were cool toys. This is similar to a series of parodic toy commercials in the cartoon show Ren & Stimpy, where a plain wooden log was advertised as a cool toy.
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory(1971)
The factory, the workers, and Phineas' clothes are all references to this movie, staring Gene Wilder.
The chocolate river and "Badinka Dinkas" are references to the "Oompa-Loompas" from the book and movie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Title: Toy to the World It is also a take on the song, Joy To the World, by Three Dog Night.
Title: Toy to the World
The title of this episode, Toy to the World, is a spoof of the Christmas carol, Joy to the World.
