  • The comedy seems to have dried out, and the story is switching gears, drastically...maybe a little too drastically.

Aun's sister wants to throw a party for Photon after discovering his little boy has finally married. During her relaxation period at the hot spring, Keyne questions the source of its heat. She has a good hunch that the answer to this could finally end her short journey here on earth. They all head to the devil's hot spring in order to aid Keyne. Photon was distracted when a pop up balloon of Aun's sister was floating by, separating the group into two parties. Lashara, requested from Papacha, was threatening to kill Photon, until Papacha revealed his true self. Her wrists were about to detonate, but Photon went out of his way to burn his palms in order to remove them. Aun and Keyne found a bit more success, finally arriving at the anti aho furnace. However, Bulan and Papacha were there to intercept the two.

Pretty good episode, though it does a horrible job of balancing between the story and comedy. In previous episodes, Photon was flat out funny with little to no story progressment, though this one throws all of these concepts in your face from the get go with not as much humour. Keyne and Aun's constant battling with each other about breasts was still pretty funny, but nothing compared to previous episodes. The story is revealed to a good amount, though not exactly great since much questions have yet to be answered. Though outside of balancing issues, this episode was still executed pretty smoothly. The transition from Aun sister's Inn to the devil's hot spring was pretty great. The "emotional" scene with Lashara finally realizing how fake Papacha is, was pretty lackluster and cliched. Other than that shortcoming, a good watch.moreless
