  • A very modern show

    9.5
I find Pink at First Sight a nice Valentine's Day special show with a modern design, a cool standard music (of course composed by Henry Macinni) and a few of interesting characters. In this special, Pink Panther has boring because everyone was a Valentine and not him. But he's playing to give presents for womens with some tricks and provocating some swirls. I find the design too very original and really captivate, same if this special was made in 1981, it's more superior than the Looney Tunes TV specials air during this yearsmoreless
  • A great Valentine's Day special with the Pink Panther.

    9.8
Pink at First Sight was the last Pink Panther cartoon the original crew worked on. It can be seen, as this is a great Valentine's Day special. Pink Panther sees Valentine's Day stuff on windows of the shops, like "Be My Valentine". He is sad, because he doesn't have a valentine, but he starts seeing people as a panther lady. He gets in trouble as a dancing manager, a husband and a group of gangsters chase him.

If you saw the "Olym-Pinks" special and thought it wasn't good enough, don't worry. This special is better. The only problem is that this is hard to find today. As it isn't on the Pink Panther Classic Cartoon Collection, the only way to get it is to buy the VHS released in the 80's.

This was a great way for the classic Pink Panther cartoon series to end. DePatie-Freleng had been sold to Marvel, when this special was made, but it looks completely like the DePatie-Freleng cartoons. This is also unusual for the fact that this is one of the few where characters actually speak (though the Pink Panther himself is silent).moreless
