Pinks

Show Summary

The 1950s fad of drag racing is brought back to the spotlight by SPEEDtv's Pinks. In each episode, two competitors arrive at a designated track with their respective vehicles and race the old-fashioned way. No electronic system tracks the cars' speeds, so the drivers must somehow come to an agreement about the outcome of even the closest races. When one driver manages to win three out of five races, he or she gets to go home with the other driver's car.

  • Best idea I have ever seen for a game show!

    8.5
The host is very charismatic and somehow manages to make everything fair while promoting good sportsmanship all at once. This show sets a great example and promotes hot rodding in a positive manner. I think the new races for money are much better then the title races because we are seeing much more quality cars that people love and would no way risk losing as opposed to guys installing a crate motor in a station wagon and coming to race. Love the show! You guys rock, when are you coming to Indiana? Lets see the host race sometime!

  • The show is loosing the viewers interest because of to many breaks and commercials. We need to see more of the finish line video.

I feel like this show would keep my attention better if it had more racing and less advertising. There are entirely to many commercials. Show a complete race from negotations to the finish line then a commercial for crying out loud. If you need to fill time show the finish line more. I cann't follow what's going on and keep it straight because of the interuptions. The idea is good, all race fans enjoy the old school racing. The problem is you are trying to put in to much suspense to the point of losing the intrest of the viewers. Thanks

  • Make a host change or have a talk with the one you have.

Myself being a Television Producer for many automotive shows over the years I just thought that I would give you my two cents. The host of the show is terrible. He needs to relax and loose some of electronic devices off his belt. He comes across as being a non car guy trying too hard.

I do like the concept but I feel the show needs some fine tuning. I may be out your way in the springtime. I'm riding my motorcycle from Los Angeles to all the coast lines and borders even into Canada and Mexico should be about a six month tour. I will be piloting the baddest bike on the planet the Kawasaki ZX-14

    Thank You,
