  • Extreme intelligence without the use of lazy sex jokes makes this show a high-brow masterpiece.

This is one of the best cartoons out there. With a mix of satire, clever slapstick, and classic cartoon zaniness, this show's humor appeals to extremely smart people. It's just such an intelligent show. I didn't understand a single joke as a child, but now that I'm older, there is much to laugh at. While the humor appeals to mostly adults, the characters of Pinky and the Brain lure in people of all ages. Like Tom Ruegger has said before, we each have a little Pinky in us, and we each have a little Brain. I can totally relate to both characters in many ways. Celebrities, political figures, and other leaders are frequently mocked in this show, adding to its value. In fact, the political humor and celebrity bashing is so frequent that a joke will occasionally slip past me, and I will have to research it. Everything is so clever. On top of that, you've got great animation, wonderful music, and, like Animaniacs, the best voice actors you can get. This show will always hold a place in my heart.moreless

  • Pinky is my hero!

Ah, yes. Pinky and the Brain! Such an excellent show, it's a shame today's cartoons don't have the same charm they used to. Every since I was little, Pinky has been one of my heroes. Rob Paulsen does an excellent job voicing him and helping bring out his wacky, strange personality. The Brain is funny too but Pinky will always be on my top 5 funniest cartoon character list. I loved the show when I was little but couldn't get most of the jokes. Now that I re-watch it as a young adult, I can fully appreciate the humor. Shows like this go to show you that cartoons aren't ALWAYS for kids!moreless

  • Pinky and The Brain is sheer genius. The character designs are wonderful and the voice acting is superb. But the single stand out feature is the theme song. One of the greatest theme songs of all time.moreless

I loved Pinky and The Brain. One of the best shows of the 1990s.

Pinky and The Brain are, as it's wonderful theme song says, "two laboratory mice whose genes have been spliced". The Brain lives up to his name and has a giant brain and a genius intellect. Pinky, on the hand, is more on the mentally challenged side of things. Every night they try, and fail, to take over the world with one The Brain's evil genius plans.

Pinky and The Brain started off just a recurring bit in the Animaniacs, which was also a great show, but there was so much potential in the concept that Pinky and The Brain soon had their own show.

The Brain's voice was a perfect mock Orson Welles and Pinky's nonsensical rantings and noises were hilarious. But the single best part was the theme song. The Pink and The Brain theme song will go down as one of the best theme songs of all time. It's impossible to be unhappy while listening to that song.moreless

  • Not as good as the Animaniacs..

I loved the Animaniacs, and I really do think that Pinky and the Brain was one of the good parts of the show. However, I don't think it was worthy of its own show. I actually think there were other segments of the show that were better. I have to say that I think Pinky and the Brain were a bit over-rated, and that I never understood why they were so popular with everyone, and I don't think I ever will. I am still a die hard Animaniacs fan, but as for Pinky and the Brain.... them I can live without.moreless
