      • The lion cub that Brain encounters bears a resemblance to young Simba from The Lion King.

      • This episode centres around the biblical story of Sampson and Delilah. In the story, Sampson has the strength of ten men, but will lose it if he ever cuts his hair. The Philistines hire Delilah to seduce Sampson and remove his hair. Pinky and The Brain also make several references to the story of Moses.
