    • TRIVIA (1)

      • During the first few airings of the episode, the word "ass" was mentioned a few times, during the "jawbone of an ass" lines. When this episode was later aired, the word "ass" was removed so the lines were shortened to say "jawbone" instead. The DVD version of the episode has the line uncut.

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Brain: Besides, gratuitous violence is beneath me.
Pinky: Then why do you always bop me on the head, Brain?
Brain: That's not gratuitous, it's involuntary.

      • Brain: Are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: Well, I think so Brain, but if Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why does he keep doing it?

    • NOTES (1)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • The lion cub that Brain encounters bears a resemblance to young Simba from The Lion King.

      • This episode centres around the biblical story of Sampson and Delilah. In the story, Sampson has the strength of ten men, but will lose it if he ever cuts his hair. The Philistines hire Delilah to seduce Sampson and remove his hair. Pinky and The Brain also make several references to the story of Moses.
