    This episode is almost certainly based on an actual incident from 1972. Some engineering students whose specialty was artificial intelligence rigged up a statue of Abe Lincoln and was about to demonstrate it to a curious public. It opened its mouth, and it was supposed to give the Gettysburg Address. Unfortunately, some of the circuits were tuned to the exact same frequency as a nearby radio transmitter, and Lincoln instead began belting out a song by Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones. The reference was totally lost on me until I read about the real SNAFU a few years later ... and the first thing that came back to mind was this Pinky and the Brain eppy.moreless
