Pinky: Hmm, world domination. Walnut shell. World domination. (Brain puts his head inside a walnut shell) Or walnut shell?
Brain: Man has an evil side, Pinky.
Pinky: Which one? Front, or back?
Brain: Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?
Pinky: I think so Brain, but I get all clammy inside the tent.
Brain: Sigmund Freud would have had a field day with you, Pinky.
Pinky: Oh, he liked sports then, did he?
One line was changed after the first airing of this episode. What is heard now as: "There must be a way to get this money without running for Congress." originally was: "There must be a way to get this money without working for Eisner."

The opposing lawyer in the courtroom scenes was a take on actor Christopher Walken.
Gallagher:
Punk: Oh, we've got a real funny man. A regular Gallagher, eh?
Brain: You think Gallagher is funny?
Gallagher was a stand-up comedian popular in the 1980's, best known for routines of smashing watermelons and other large objects on stage with a mallet.
Episode Title: Of Mouse And Man.
The title of this episode is a reference to John Steinbeck's classic novel Of Mice and Men.
