Gertrude Stein: The popular novel that Brain wants to use for world domination is actually a jab at avant-garde writer Gertrude Stein (which it mentions). It even contains the name of Alice B. Toklas, her life partner.
Jimmy Hoffa: Brain: I will pose as Jimmy Hoffa, back from vacation. Jimmy Hoffa was the infamous leader of the Teamsters union in the late 60's and early 70's who disappeared in 1975. Since then there have been numerous legends about the mafia killing him and where they stashed his body.
