I was diappointed to hear that Pirate Master was cancelled, but relieved when I heard that they would be streaming the unaired episodes on Innertube (CBS' streaming site). However, I live in Canada and they block my IP from viewing the episodes (I'm sure it is for the same reason that I couldn't watch the BSG webisodes last summer). Anyone know a way around this so I can see the final episodes? I've checked torrents and there are none posted that I can see. HELP!

This was written by a poster on EW.com:

The web feed on CBS doesn't work well for me either, ABC website works fine. I was able eventually watch the episode,

You can use a US proxy to get around any site with this restriction. I'll PM you a how-to. I just learned how to do it today and it is really easy.

I've run into the same problems with the "US only" viewing. I just don't understand why they wouldn't allow people from outside the US to view it. I mean, it's not like we don't get US channels up in Canada or US shows, so why make the internet stuff exclusive? Aren't they just limiting their audience? If anyone knows a way around this I'd appeciate it.

CTV says they're "working on it" - Can't imagine why they can't show it online just like CBS - they were showing the episodes on the web before it was cancelled.

Anyways, found ep. 9 on a torrent site for downloading so just surf around a bit. Hopefully you'll find it

It's not like they don't have a say. Canadian broadcasters can opt to block US stations, and Canadian websites are free to stream episodes (such that they have the rights, of course).

I'm in the same boat as you. We can't watch the remaining episodes either.

It's actually a CBS program but it's not available through their website for Canadians. I've had great success downloading it from torrent sites.

CTV could have aired the remaining episodes (on TV) if they wanted to. There have been many instances of a network cancelling a show, and an affiliate airing the rest. For example, last season (uh, two seasons ago ) Space aired the remaining episodes of Night Stalker after ABC had cancelled it.

As for viewing this show, your best bet is to download it. It is likely available on both the donkey and torrent networks.

I thought Pirate Master was being shown in Australia as well?
(Not that it would have helped the Canadian folks any...)

Sure it does. Well, indirectly. If something is shown at all, anywhere, then it can be "ripped" and released on the Internet. If the producers and networks abandon a show, then the viewers have to pick up the slack and help others to see it.
