Originally the Ape Council called malaria the "sleeping sickness." But when the second gorilla collapses, they call it the "shaking sickness."
Zaius: Urko, sometimes I wonder what you fear most – death, or a few words of wisdom?
Pete: That's the first thing I learned as a kid. All good medicine tastes ugh terrible.
Urko: I will not back down to a mosquito!
Pete: You're whistling Dixie, doc. Zoran: Whistling? I will speak more clearly. Did you hear whistling? Is there something wrong with your ears.
Galen: I am getting to be no better than a human!
Alan: Chalk it up to being human. Galen: Oh yes. Sometimes I forget that humans can't forget the weaknesses they have.
Talbert: Why don't you stay – make your home here? Pete: That's a good question I guess the reason is Virdon has an itch in his feet and I have rocks in my head which is why I go along. You see, we're taking a survey of the far side of every hill. Galen: I'd like to give you a better answer . . . but I can't think of one.
