  • A thriller of an episode when The goodies and the Baddies come together to help the trapped Urko and Burke. The setting is underground and clostrophobic leading to a tense race against time to save Petes life. Overall a good episode.moreless

I have seen this episode so many times it is hard for me to judge it, I've seen it more than any other POTA episode soo something about it must be good. This was the first episode when I realised this was a great show. The first episode was OK, the second one better and true to form this one is the best thus far. It has a great theme, good acting, a nice plot (even if it is a little streched) and a good change of setting. Overall I would recomend this episode, its definatley a better episode in the seriesmoreless

    • Trivia: We find out Urko has a wife – Elta. This is the first and only time we've heard of her. Edit
    • They forget to blacken the skin around the eyes of the heliograph guards - in a close-up shot as he talks to Galen, you can clearly see his human skin around the edges of the eyeholes. Edit
    • While Burke and Urko are trapped in the subway station, neither seems to notice the fully functioning electric lights which are hanging from the ceiling. Burke could have easily pointed them out to Urko as proof of superior human technology that the ape had been demanding. He should also have wondered what was still powering them, indicating still-working technology and/or another civilization, especially after he uses a downed light to shock Urko. And, surely, Urko should have been thoroughly amazed that not only was someting providing illumination but that one gave him a very painful shock when he accidentally stabbed it with his knife resulting in his being knocked unconscious.
