Bride Sanya Richards and her groom, pro-football player Aaron Ross, are one of the country's hottest celebrity sports couples. When they say, "I do," it will be one for the record books with a room full of champions in attendance. With a budget of close to $600,000, this platinum affair is first-class all the way. Their 500 guests knew they were in for something extra special when they first got a peak of the couple's elaborately designed wedding invitations, which cost $20,000 to create. As the details continue to unfold, this wedding spectacular gets bigger and better at every turn. • Kristel & Jason
      Episode 21
Kristel and Jason are passionate about sports and each other. He made a name for himself as a cornerback in the NFL, winning a Superbowl ring along the way. She's also on the run with a talent for women's track and field. The two were introduced by Kristel's coach who, in addition to playing cupid, also happens to be Jason's sister. When Jason popped the question, he did it up big, flying their closest friends and family to Vegas for a special proposal "surprise" party. The answer was "yes" and now Jason wants his platinum wedding to be even more memorable. Unable to decide between a traditional or contemporary setting, Kristel and Jason decided to do both, calling their theme "a modern vintage romance." Amid the elegant confines of the Westlake Village Inn in California's prestigious Westlake area, the $400,000 extravaganza will feature two totally separate and distinctive spaces. The ballroom will be done up in classic shades of cream, white, champagne and mauve, while the downstairs after-party will be sleek and chic, with accent colors of black and red. Kristel will dazzle on her wedding day in a $15,000 custom-made gown and $1 million in bridal bling by legendary jeweler Neil Lane. Between the bracelet, the necklace and the earrings, she'll be covered in more than one hundred carats in diamonds. The bride and groom are also making music a big part of their celebration. They've lined up everyone from jazz musicians to a gospel choir to keep their guests entertained all night long. Instead of traditional seating arrangements, a gourmet spread will be prepared at specially designed "feasting tables." After a mouthwatering dinner, the 150 guests will be treated to a private concert courtesy of famed neo-soul artist Dwele and dance the night away to the sounds of a celebrity deejay. • Catherine & Eddie
      Episode 20
Eddie fell head over heels for Catherine when he spotted her at a party in their hometown of Houston four years ago, but she was leaving town for law school, and he was staying behind to become a resident surgeon. When Catherine returned to work in her family's restaurant business, they met up again and this time, she fell for him too. Now they're ready to walk down the aisle and they're pulling out all the stops. Catherine's family is shelling out over seven hundred thousand dollars to create an incredible garden atmosphere that Catherine and Eddie will never forget. One seventh of the budget, a hundred thousand dollars, is being spent on the flowers alone, to realize the couple's "fantasy land" theme. Since Catherine is Chinese and Eddie is Korean, they included unique Asian accents in the overall design. The ballroom will be softly lit by large canopies fringed with pink, red and lavender blooms to create a pastel paradise. The wedding and reception will be held in the same room, but will have two completely different looks, showcased by two separate color schemes. The guests will enter a ceremonial hall done up in pink tones. When they return after cocktails, they will find the ballroom transformed and all aglow in shades of lavender. On her wedding day, the Bride presents her bridal party with gifts of rose and amethyst jewelry. Her own jewelry of South Sea pearl earrings with diamond bows and a South Sea pearl necklace complement her ivory wedding dress perfectly. • Carrie & Jeff
      Episode 19
As soon as Jeff met Carrie, it was love at first sight. The couple soon realized they were made for each other. Seven years and two kids later, this couple is finally ready to say I do. So they're planning the fairytale wedding that Carrie has been dreaming about for years. They've designed a sumptuous wedding that harkens back to a more romantic and opulent time. The venue they chose in their hometown of Miami is an Italian-styled waterfront estate built in 1916. The Renaissance-inspired architecture and lush gardens provide a luxurious backdrop to their six hundred thousand dollar wedding. From the white and ivory tones in the decor and floral designs, to the gold and silver tablescapes, bride Carrie's vision is all about class, elegance and high-society sophistication. The bride has always wanted to be married under a canopy and the custom-made creation was designed with curly willow, moss, and an array of white flowers to capture the spirit of the surrounding gardens on the 180-acre estate. Carrie's stunning Bagley Mishka wedding gown is a dress made for a princess: a Chantilly lace strapless sheath with Swarovski crystals along the neckline. And the bride's Harry Winston jewelry really sparkles. From the four carat, D Color, internally flawless, micropave ring, to the two carat flawless earrings, the bride's jewelry alone comes in at four hundred thousand dollars! To top off her look, the princess in this fairytale gets her hair styled in a very traditional updo, but with a modern twist of long flowing loose ringlet curls. As the bride and groom exchange vows under the ethereal canopy, the groom has eyes only for his bride. After the outdoor wedding, the guests enjoy a cocktail hour inside the estate and then stroll out to the east terrace for a lavish seven course dinner under the stars. And then it's party time as the bridal couple and guests dance into the night.moreless
    • Charlotte & Darin

Because the bride and groom will be honeymooning in the City of Light, their Christmas Day wedding will have a "Winter in Paris" theme and a price tag of $800,000. They hired one of the biggest party planners in Los Angeles to make sure this platinum event goes off without a hitch. The bride has always loved all things pink and girly. The groom is obsessed with his 80's music. These two worlds collide at Ashleigh and Kristopher's California wedding, where Chantilly lace meets rock n' roll. The bride and groom-to-be live in Hawaii, so the mother of the bride hired Sacramento wedding planner Debra Michelle Hiebert to put all the parts together. And with Debra's help, Ashleigh's mom has cooked up a whole host of surprises for her daughter, including lighting elements and cake decorations inspired by the couple's tattoos. Ashleigh selected a traditional pearly pink wedding cake but unbeknownst to her, her Mother has ordered another cake with Ed Hardy-inspired black fondant that is decidedly un-girly from the same baker. Another one of Mom's surprises is a custom-designed "ice luge" engraved with the couple's monogram to serve their signature cocktails. It takes a large crew to transform a traditional country club into a chic black and white venue. But with the help of a creative wedding planner, hundreds of yards of fabric, and a unique floral design that includes a polka-dotted rose petal aisle treatment, the mission is accomplished. The table settings shine atop smoky quartz chargers with pale pink linens accented by an ultra-feminine black and white cameo gift box. Mom saves the biggest surprise for last. It's an explosive firework show choreographed to the couple's favorite music, and it blows the crowd away as the reception kicks into high gear, a perfect ending to another platinum event.moreless

    • Jerrica & Joe
      Episode 14
Old-fashioned Hollywood glamour meets the pomp and circumstance of the military in this Central California wedding. Bride Jerrica and groom, Army Reservist Joe, fell in love over the movies, so when it came time to plan their wedding, they decided to combine their love of classic films with the pageantry of the armed forces. Then the bride found her wedding gown, and quickly realized that it was too grand for their first wedding site, so they moved the event to a larger church, so the gown would have a proper setting. One dress would not be enough for a silver-screen type celebration, so Jerrica assembled three wedding day looks, and a personal jewelry consultant helped her complete her ensembles with almost $150,000 worth of gems. To honor her groom's Asian heritage, one of the bride's outfits is an heirloom gown from his grandmother, to be worn during a traditional tea ceremony on their wedding day. Wardrobe isn't the only thing that comes in threes in this wedding. There will be three different cakes, as well. In addition to a massive six-tier high main cake, there will be a groom's cake, and an entire room filled with mini-cakes for the children who will be attending the wedding. The wedding planner pulls out all the stops, putting together a red carpet complete with paparazzi to make the guests feel like Hollywood royalty as they arrive. At the reception, lively entertainment and theatre-style seating will make every guest feel like they have a front row seat. The decor shines like a movie premiere with hundreds of flowers, ostrich plumes and crystal-draped candles highlighted by the regal dark blue colors that reflect the groom's military background.moreless
