Welcome to the Play of the Month guide at TV.com. Play of the Month is a collection of plays produced by BBC-1 that aired roughly once per month, initially on Tuesdays and later on Sunday evenings. Although a small number of the plays were written specifically for the series, the majority were adaptations of classic stage works of British and other well-known playwrights.
