  • An intant classic, one of the most watched childrens shows in Australia

Probably the most watched show of Australian children, Play school is second to none when it comes to children aged from 1-5. From ages 6-10 it was uncool to like play school, but when they get older children really start to appreciate the classic show.

There is a long list of toys used in the series who were influential in childrens early years. The large cast of people willing to take part in the show was huge and many young teenagers could still list many of their favourite cast members.(though some have retired)

Play school is a great show and i hope it continues for a lot more series yet!moreless
  • Definately one of the best childrens' shows ever.

When Play School came on and you saw the house, there was always that question of which window will the camera go through today?

Personally, I loved this show when I was growing up. It featured a collection of teddies, each having their own names, and throughout the series, different pets. It really helped children to learn numeracy, literacy, combined with the presenters who were very informative towards the viewers.

To sum it up, it really was one of the best childrens' programmes to ever be on TV. The only annoying part is that it was never released on DVD, but you never know in the future.moreless
