Coach George: Commandment 1, we play to win. Commandment 2, to win we must be prepared. Guerwitcz, what is the 3rd Commandment?
Thad Guerwitcz: There is no 3rd Commandment.
Coach George: Correct!

Coach George: Personal responsibility. We cannot achieve our goals until each one of you feels personally responsible to the group.

Eric Olczyk: [Narrative] You tell yourself it's for your brother, to screw your dad, because it's Sunday and that's what you do...who you are. But the truth is, you're scared to walk away. You hate the game, but you don't have the strength to leave it. So you play angry, like someone's gonna pay for this. Leon Taylor: (to Eric) A slow white boy, who turned himself into a player. Now don't tell me that you don't want it. Or that you did it for your brother, to kiss off your old man. And don't bring up what happened to Corey, either. Occupational hazard. Now you kicked ass for this job, broke bones for it, suffered concussions, been shot up practically everyday. Now, you may hate it, but the fact is, this is who you are.
