The Cougars have been ravaged in the first half of play. Coach George and the medical staff must patch up the pieces for the second half, but halftime drama among the players have them going at each other. Leon faces a potentially career ending knee injury which worsens a rift with Olczyk, who has just been made aware of what Leon did to Robin. DH can't make it to the next half without getting high, so he calls on a friend to meet him for another fix. McConnell needs relief from the pain of a separated shoulder, as Chambers scours the stands for his next night nurse.moreless

There was 44 minutes of episode footage in this episode, yet the writers made everything fit into a 20 minutes halftime session. There were some moments of flashbacks of Leons conversations with his wife, but nothing big enough to make up for the huge time difference. If the writers wanted to overlap some of the time, they should have been more creative and shown things that we have all ready seen in the backgrond, to give us a better feel for the actual timeline of events that occured during the short halftime period. The drama during the halftime period was actually really well done, but the writing made the episode drag down a lot. Leon not being hurt was a great twist to learn at the end, the writers introduced a new character - # 83 Thea, a wide reciever for the team. His involvement in this epsiode was to help a struggling "DH" to get his drugs, which seemed very out of character for him. Overall, drama was good - writing was awful.moreless
