  • Not my favorite episode...

It's true that Pokemon has lots of episodes based on newly introduced Pokemon and attacks, but this one turned out to be a bunch of baloney. James and Jessie use a pathetic disguise that they have been using for a long time, and nobody notices... Anyways, Jessie bribes a man into helping out her Seviper and James' Cacnea weaken Pikachu so that they can capture him. Max sees through this cheating, and sabotages the scheme. This episode was unoriginal and kind of boring compared to other ones. There were no events; it's true that many Pokemon episodes don't have events, but this one was pretty boring compared to the rest.moreless
  • The scams are very creative...

So on to LavaRidge! But the gang meets up with a friend who I do not know, seeing as how I never watched Advanced. But Ash and the gang sure know him! He has a Plusle and a Minum, and focuses on the Helping Hand technique. He has a strong influence in Pokemon cheering, which Team Rocket also decides to check out. Brock's Foretress is wasted by James's Cacnea, which the cheering somehow revived. And the same thing happens when Jessie's Seviper fights Pikachu!

Max doesn't buy this, and realize that the head guy is speaking into a microphone, and four Pokemon are hiding in the drums, and using AromaTherapy and Helping Hand! Max reveals the scam, and Team Rocket fails at capturing Pikachu without the help of the scam. A perfect episode!!moreless
