AIRED:
On their way to Pacifidlog Town, the boat Ash and friends are riding breaks down, forcing them to make a pit stop on Donto Island. It is currently the Donphan mating season, which they get caught up in the middle of and end up being separated from each other. May now has to make the ultimate decision: stay and find Max and miss the final contest before the Grand Festival, or leave alone for Pacifidlog Island trusting that Ash will find Max and come to the Contest the next morning.moreless

Nice eppy! All those Donphans wanted one single female brown Donphan. I wonder how it got brown? So while they were on their way to Pacifidlog Island, they got a sidetrip into an island. Where Donphan live. They're doing a courdship dance, what I call Love Dance, A lot of Donphans wanted a single female brown Donphan. Then they bump into a Donphan that really likes the brown one, so they encourage it, then again and again, finally the Donphan got what it want, then TR steals both Donphan and head off, naturally Ash and co. stops them and brings back Donphan. (There's a part that I missed to type sorry!)moreless

This epsidoe shows just how much May cares for Max, giving up a chance for the Grand Festival to find here brother, that showed some love. Plus this episode featured Donphan, one of my favorite pokemon ever! A very good episode.
