Episode Summary

Hoenn Alone!
Ash has left all of his Pokémon behind in Pallet Town except Pikachu and boarded a ship bound for Littleroot Town in Hoenn. Unfortunately, Team Rocket is on board as well, and they're cooking up a scheme to catch Pikachu once and for all. They nab Pikachu and hop off the boat just as it pulls into a port. Their plan quickly goes awry, and Meowth and Pikachu end up separated in a bad neighborhood. While Meowth and Pikachu team up to chase off a gang of territorial Haunter, Ash teams up with Officer Jenny to rescue Pikachu before the boat leaves.moreless

  • Ash and Pikachu leave for a new journey without their friends

Though i have not seen this episode in quite some time, im pretty sure it was a '1.5' It was quite simply the worst episode in the history of poke'mon.

nothing happened, and it was just hard to watch. absolutely dreadful and it definitely was foreshadowing of how the remainder of the series would be like.
  • Team Rocket fights back to steal Pikachu by attracting it with a magnet.

Series finale of the Pokemon Adventures. Since Team Rocket has failed to catch Pikachu, they almost won this time by attracting it with a magnet attatched to the balloon. The magnet has damaged Pikachu's Attack Level and with a powerfl Thunder Attack, they blast off again. Now, Ash gets on board on a ship to Hoenn. With TR following them on the ship, stuck on a magnet, Pikachu loses ocntrol and gets a high fever. What will become of his Pokemon? Will he lose Pikachu and start all overagain getting a new Pokemon?

    Next Time... A New Beginnig...moreless
  • Goodbye Pokemon and hello Pokemon Advanced Generation. This series finale could\'ve been better though.

After watching this show for 5 years it\'s finally over. I do miss it but I like Pokemon Advanced Generation more. However the way things went in this episode and Pokemon Advanced Generation made this episode not feel like a series finale. It\'s also kind of strange that a lot of people think that Pokemon Advanced Generation is more seasons of the original Pokemon series. This is also the first episode since the beggining where it\'s just Ash and his Pikachu. No Misty ( we miss you), no Brock, and no pokemon in Ash\'s team but Pikachu. Here\'s to a new start.moreless
  • It was good, but I like better when the episodes are bringing new things, like additions to the team, pokemon battles, for me it was like a filler because of Ash being doing nothing, just with Pikachu beginning a new adventure.moreless

Well, it wasn`t much in this episode, is another one in which Pikachu gets separated with Meowth, and the fact that only Ash is there, well it doesn`t help much because there is no new things happening in here. The adventure begins later, this episode is a filler and a prelude to the Johto league.
