    Ash has left all of his Pokémon behind in Pallet Town except Pikachu and boarded a ship bound for Littleroot Town in Hoenn. Unfortunately, Team Rocket is on board as well, and they're cooking up a scheme to catch Pikachu once and for all. They nab Pikachu and hop off the boat just as it pulls into a port. Their plan quickly goes awry, and Meowth and Pikachu end up separated in a bad neighborhood. While Meowth and Pikachu team up to chase off a gang of territorial Haunter, Ash teams up with Officer Jenny to rescue Pikachu before the boat leaves.moreless

    With the Johto League Silver Conference behind them, Ash, Brock, and Misty head back to Viridian City to relax. Their vacation is cut short when Misty receives an urgent call beckoning her back to Cerulean City to run the gym while her sisters cruise the world. Brock too realizes that has things he has to do back home. After a teary goodbye, the three friends return to their hometowns. Ash, wondering what life will like without traveling with Misty and Brock thinks of what he should do, and an attempt to steal Pikachu from Team Rocket may give him the answer.moreless

When it comes time to start the battle, Ash quickly learns that although Jackson comes off as a clumsy and goofy trainer, he is very strong and Ash must battle strategically if he wants to defeat Jackson and win his division.moreless

    Ash has made it through the screening rounds of the Silver Conference, and the preliminary tournament is starting soon. In this part of the Johto League, trainers are divided into blocks of three trainers. The three trainers battle each other in individual battles to win points. After all three battles in a block have been fought, the trainer with the most points moves onto the Victory Tournament. Ash is is Block H and his first match against a girl named Macey is coming up. Macey is skilled in Fire-Types, so Ash has his Squirtle come to the Silver Conference, but will it be enough to win?moreless

    Ash and friends offer to help the Silver Conference officials retrieve the Ho-Oh Flame from atop a mountain shrine. However, a Sneasel and its buddies Machop and Machoke are guarding the shrine. They also meet another trainer, from the Hoenn Region, named Harrison. Harrison vowes to catch the Sneasel. Will he succeed and will they get the Flame?moreless

    After many days of travel, Ash and friends finally reach the area where their Larvitar was born. They soon encounter a Tyranitar that they recognize from Larvitar's visions to be its mother. Unfortunately, this Tyranitar mistakes them for the poachers that had stolen her child, and Larvitar is scared of its own mother. Our heroes struggle to convince the mother Tyranitar of their good intentions, but to no avail. Things only get worse when the actual poachers arrive, intent on capturing not only the child, but its mother as well.moreless

    Having finally reached the base of Mount Silver, Ash and friends stop momentarily when they discover a lost Unown on their path. Spotting this rare Pokémon, Team Rocket decide to capture it. However, when this Unown is attacked a defensive instinct leads it to teleport itself into another dimension. Unfortunately, Ash and friends are also caught up in this multidimensional escape, and wind up in a strange world filled with random things.     Ash and friends reach the base of Mount Silver, where they hope to return Larvitar to its birthplace. On their way, Ash faces a young trainer in Pokémon battle, pitting his Cyndaquil against the trainer's Magby. After the battle, Ash has thoughts about trying to make his Cyndaquil evolve. Following behind, Jessie and James notice all of the strong Pokémon that are getting read to compete in the Johto League. They then decide to steal all of them, and Larvitar.moreless

    Ash and friends continue their journey to Mount Silver and the home of Larvitar. While walking in a forest they run into their old friend Casey. She is in the area trying to capture on Elekid that is a trickster. Ash, Misty, and Brock decide to catch up with her and help her capture Elekid. Meanwhile, Team Rocket have a run in with the Magikarp Salesman. He convinces them to trade James' Victreebel for a Weepinbell that knows Sweet Scent. Jessie and Meowth want to use it immediately, but James is still sad that his Victreebel is gone.moreless
  • A Crowning Achievement
    Brock leads Ash and Misty toward a beautiful lake he has read about in his guidebook. When they arrive at its supposed location, they find nothing but a dried-up stream, surrounded by a number of thirsty Slowpoke. Ash and friends spot a King's Rock, but are stopped from approaching it by a young girl and her Slowpoke. The girl explains that she and her Slowpoke are researching legends surrounding the Slowpoke that live around the lake. Ash and friends, interested in the legends, decide to help them, and also help to fend off a Team Rocket attack.moreless

    On their way to Mount Silver, Ash and friends find a hot spring and decide to soak in it. However, they end up setting off an alarm and a boy named Nelson comes running. After finding out it was a false alarm, he tells them that he is searching for the Legendary Pokémon Entei. He leaves to go continue searching. Team Rocket in disguise come along and pretend to sell smoothies. They trick Ash and his pokémon to getting into the back of the truck. They then close the doors and drive off. He manages to escape, but Team Rocket eventually returns to finish what they started and they attack the hot springs.moreless

    The mysterious Pokémon Egg that Professor Elm asked Ash to retrieve hatches into Larvitar. However, the newly born Pokémon is cold, meaning that it is sick and needs immediate attention.     Ash and friends stop by a Pokémon Center where they get a message from Professor Elm. He wants them to retrieve a Pokémon egg from a nearby marine Pokémon laboratory. At the laboratory, Ash and friends meet up with a young researcher who uses the supersonic waves from a Lanturn to detect the singing voices of traveling Lapras. The Lapras begin to come into the bay from the sea and one of them comes right up to Ash. It is none other then his Lapras that he had while traveling the Orange Islands. They begin to have fun, but Team Rocket is lurking nearby, waiting for the right time so strike and capture all of the Lapras.moreless

    On the way back to New Bark Town, Ash and friends see a poster advertising a Water Gym down the shore. They decide to visit it, and meet the leader, Dorian. When Misty and Dorian have a disagreement about who is the strongest of Misty and her sisters, Misty challenges him to a battle. Ash also challenges him to a battle and he agrees to battle both. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is planning on capturing all of Dorian's Pokémon.moreless

    Ash plans to go to New Bark Town to register for the Johto Silver Conference now that he has all 8 badges. However, Team Rocket has plans of their own. They decide to steal Ash's badges for money or to enter the Conference themselves. The pretend to give Ash an interview and during the "interview" Jessie puts the badges in a box and gives it to Wobbuffet and has it go to a meeting place. However, in the woods a Wynaut steals them. With no one knowing exactly where the badges are, it becomes a frantic search for all sides to find the badges first.moreless

    As everyone looks to the sky, Ash's Charizard descends from the sky and greets Ash with it's typical Flamethrower. Liza soon arrives as well. Clair tells Liza about the current situation involving Dragonite and she agrees to help. They head into the Holy Land after Team Rocket. Meanwhile, Team Rocket find a shrine. While Dragonite is sleeping they go inside and steal the Prayer Flame. However, James drops it and sets the Holy Land on fire. Dragonite wakes up and turns on Team Rocket. Ash and the others arrive just in time to save Team Rocket from being hit by a Hyper Beam. Now, with the Holy Land burning and Dragonite attacking everyone, Ash and the others must figure out how to stop the fire and stop Dragonite at the same time or else disastrous results could happen.moreless

Her assistant also arrives and reveals her to be Clair, the Blackthorn Gym Leader. They are on their way to perform a annual tradition at a waterfall up the river, and Clair's Dratini is getting ready to shed its skin. Ash and friends decide to help her keep Dratini safe as they make their trip. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is planning on capturing Dratini for Giovanni.moreless

Misty loses, and reassures Poliwhirl that it did good, and to watch Poliwrath's next battle since someday it will be one. Team Rocket comes up with a full proof plan. They mange to trick Delaney and get a hold of his Poliwrath. Ash and friends find him and they chase after Team Rocket. They use a special device on Poliwrath which makes it obey them. Now they must find a way to free Poliwrath without hurting it.moreless

    Ash and friends are relaxing in a field when a Cleffa lands on Phanpy. Then they witness a spaceship which crashes into a mountain. The Pokémon Mystery Club (PMC for short) appear to get the Cleffa and interrupt Team Rocket's plan to capture the Cleffa. While both Pokémon escape into the forest, PMC, Team Rocket and Ash all search for them. Meanwhile, the Clefairy from the space ship begin to search for stuff to repair their broken ship, as well as Cleffa. But who will find Cleffa first?moreless

Ash, Misty, Brock, and Krystal must now save the crystal before anything bad happens.moreless

Magcargo eventually moves, but a passing trainer named Egan, who specializes in Fire-Types, taunts Misty for he "weak" Water-Types. As he runs after Magcargo, Misty gives chase to him. He says that he will be able to capture Magcargo, but it easily beats him. Egan sits down to have lunch with Ash, Misty, and Brock, and Misty and Egan are able to put their differences aside once they discuss why their love their type of Pokémon. They then decide to help Egan capture Magcargo.moreless

    Ash and friends arrive at a windy grassy plain. They meet a guy named Steve who tells that that a lot of Gloom live in the field. Also, the winds are somehow able to evolve them. If the wind blows from the Northeast, they will evolve into Bellossom, and if the wind comes from the Northeast it will cause them to evolve into Vileplume. Both sets of pokémon love to be in sunlight, and this is causing conflicts between the two types and they are always fighting. Ash and friends decide to help by trying to stop the constant fighting. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is planning on attacking in order to steal all of the Pokémon.moreless

    Having earned Pryce's respect and permission to face the trainer in a gym battle, Ash makes the unlikely choice of sending out Cyndaquil to face his opponent on an Ice battlefield. Fortunately, Ash's strategy pans out as he leads the gym leader to lower his defenses, allowing Ash to take the first victory in a two-on-two match. Next the gym leader sends out his trusty Piloswine, which immediately unleashes a Blizzard attack that completely alters the battlefield, allowing it to make quick work of Ash's defending Pokémon. With one victory each, the match enters sudden death with each trainer using his oldest, most reliable Pokémon, Pikachu vs. Piloswine. Will Ash be able to win his seventh Johto Badge?moreless

    Ash arrives at the Mahogany Gym ready to battle for his seventh badge, only to find out that the gym is closed. Pryce's assistant, Shelia, comes along and tells them that Pryce it up in the mountains training. She takes them there, and Ash asks him for a battle. Pryce, having seen Ash help deal with the Red Gyarados, thinks that Ash is too attached to his pokémon, and thus weak. He tries to prove that he is not weak, but Pryce quickly defeats him in a unofficial battle. Pryce then leaves. While Ash goes to look for him, Team Rocket attacks. Their plan back fires and Ash and Pryce end up getting away, but by falling to the bottom of a cliff. Now seperated with only each other to rely on, Ash must work with Pryce if he wants to get out, but he may also discover why Pryce is the way he is, and discover a special surprise.moreless

    Since Ash, Misty and Brock are all trapped, Jessie and James decide to take advantage of the moment to catch Pikachu. They press the wrong button and it frees Ash and the others! Lance comes with Dragonite to help them. With Dragonite, they destroy Team Rocket's evolution inducement ray, and go off to save the Red Gyarados. With the ray destroyed, Gyarados goes on a rampage as it heads down the river towards Mahogany Town. It is now an all out race to stop Gyarados before it gets to town, or capture it in Team Rocket's case.moreless

    Heading for Mahogany Town, Pikachu, Togepi and several wild Pokémon seem a little sick. Ash and friends go to the Lake of Rage to find a Red Gyarados. Team Rocket comes to battle, but they're beaten with the help of Lance of the Elite Four. Defeated, Team Rocket goes to their base to re-group before resuming their capture plan. Ash, Misty, and Brock are determined to make sure they don't take the Gyarados, and prepare for a big battle.moreless

    Ash and friends stumble upon a community which relies on the predictions of Xatu. However, their reliance on these pokémon turns into an extreme weakness when a huge storm threatens their survival.     Ash and friends run into a Tyrogue, nearly falling victim to a ploy it lays out in an attempt to make off with all of their Pokémon food. Just as they tie things up with the Tyrogue, they learn that it is in fact not wild, but owned by a devoted student of Chuck, the Cianwood Gym leader. This student, who prides himself for his martial arts ability, explains that he is now taking his Tyrogue to an exhaustive tournament in which Fighting type Pokémon vie for the title. Meanwhile, though, he is having a terrible time disciplining his mischievous Pokémon. As if to accent this complaint, an angry local arrives, exclaiming that Tyrogue has wrought havoc in town for the last time.moreless

    As they journey towards Mahogany Town, Ash and friends stop in a house for the night. When they arrive, they discover that there's a girl named Lokoko who owns it and a Ninetales. Brock instantly falls in love with her. Strangely, she likes him too. Brock says that he wants to marry her and she agrees that she wants to marry him. He is about to hug her but actually goes through her. Ash and Misty get scared and as they get suspicious, a fog appears and Ninetales Fire Blast's them out of the house. Meanwhile, Team Rocket tries to sneak into the house but they run into some booby traps. Ash and Misty sneak in and find that there's an old picture of Brock in the house. There's also a diary written by Lokoko that is over 200 years old! What is the mystery behind Lokoko and Ninetails?moreless

    Upon realizing that Ash and friends have many more Pokémon than they do, Team Rocket go on a search for a new Pokémon. They find a Delibird in a cage. A lady comes out and says that if they can prove they are members of Team Rocket, they can keep the Delibird. They search through Team Rocket records to find their names aren't listed. They have been kicked due to their debt. However, Giovanni lets them back in so that they can repay their debts. With their spirits renewed, Team Rocket take Delibird and go to capture Pikachu.moreless

    Ash's egg hatches into a baby Phanpy. Team Rocket attacks, Pikachu's electric attack accidentally hits Phanpy, scaring the pokémon and causing it to run away.     When Ash, Misty, and Brock run to investigate a mysterious chorus of bells that spontaneously ring out, they meet their old friend Morty and a Pokémon researcher named Eusine. Morty and Eusine discovered that the sacred Crystal Bells, which are said to ring when the legendary Ho-oh returns, are missing. Since the bells were also used to keep peace with the Bug Pokémon living in that area, these Pokémon lash out against their human neighbors, covering the town with their webs. Ash and friends decide to go into the forest and try to find the Crystal Bells.moreless

    On the way to Mahogany Town, Ash, Misty, and Brock stop in Ecruteak City where they meet up with Sakura. They go to Sakura's house to catch up on what has happened since they last saw each other. Meanwhile, Team Rocket has invited Sakura's sisters to a fake tea ceremony so that they can steal their pokémon. When they learn that they are missing one evolution (Sakura's Espeon), they decide to go and catch it.moreless

This tip, Jessie reasons, will lead to heightened security, which will in turn lead to overconfidence and carelessness, effectually making it easier for Jessie and James to sneak in and claim their prize. With Ash already in strong position, Misty accidentally deploys Psyduck to face his Kingler. In a surprise turn, however, Psyduck launches a Confusion attack that wins the match for Misty. Ash takes his place in the stands and cheers for Misty as she begins her next round, but will she be able to win her battle and advance to the finals? A family had built their house upon a Corsola nesting ground, and when a new, hyperactive Corsola arrived and frightened off the previous Corsola residents, the ground beneath the house weakened and the house was washed out to sea. The father and daughter who had been outside now look on helplessly as the other daughter is washed out toward a large whirlpool. Ash and Misty call their Pokémon to action and manage to save the young girl, but this proves to be only the first challenge of the day. As Ash and friends set out to help recollect the Corsola that had reinforced the foundation of this family's home, Team Rocket soon arrives and attempts to steal not only the Corsola, but also collections of local artwork made from Corsola horns, which these Pokémon shed regularly.moreless
