Ash encounters a wild Chikorita and begins to battle it, wanting to add it to his team. However, after battling Charizard, Chikorita is injured. Ash takes it to the Pokmon Center to get healed, but Team Rocket is disguise steal it. Ash chases after Team Rocket, trying to make sure the Chikorita is safe and unharmed.moreless

    An exciting episode! So here, Ash and his friends encounter a stubborn Chikorita so he uses Charizard to battle it. Unfortunately, it hurts itself when it was grabbed by Chikorita's vines when it fell down the cliff. As they take it to a Pokemon Center, TR poses as nurses and steal it. Now Ash follows it and he takes it back. As he fell down the cliff, it escapes and now Ash finds it lost and together they stay in a cave until TR comes back again. Ash and his Pokemo fight back until their snow machine blows up and blasts off again. Now leaving, Chikorita decides to follow Ash because of its friendship. Now they move on to Violet City.moreless

    I like Chickorita but this episode kind made them look stupid. It was well written though and I like that Ash caught a Chickorita and if it wasn't so had to beat the game in G/S/C I would have picked Chickorita. I give it a 7.
