Episode Summary

Where's Armaldo?
With Ash and friends on a ferry, Max sees a nearby island to stop at and do some sightseeing. Instead of going to the next Gym Leader and to the next Pokemon Contest Hall, May and Ash want to train their Pokémon first. They all go on the Island and start training. While in the forest, Max sees a Cradily. Although no one believes him, they eventually wind up meeting two Professors and go to their research facility. They see several fossil pokémon that have been brought back to life. Team Rocket decides to steal the Ancient Fossil Pokémon for Giovanni.moreless

  • The Hoenn Fossil Pokemon

This was a good episode, we got to see the four Hoenn Fossil pokemon - Anorith, Armaldo, Lileep, and Cradily. This was a very good episode. Even though the fossil pokemon were just basically clones the episode was still good. The only thing I didn't like was that the episode focused on Armaldo and Cradily and not their pre-evolved forms. I would have loved to see an intense battle between one of Ash's Pokemon and Armaldo. Overall, this is a great episode that introduces us to four pokemon. It is very informative and is both exciting and somewhat educational. This is a good episode to watch.moreless
  • This episode featured the 4 Hoenn ancients. Cradily is first dicovered by Max. He then follows it to a lab where he finds other ancients with scientists. Armaldo was very moody though.moreless

This episode featured the four Hoenn ancients. Cradily is first dicovered by Max. He then follows it to a lab where he finds other ancients with scientists. Anorith later evolves into an Armaldo and goes on a rampage looking for ancient fruit. Team Rocket captures Armaldo and the Proffessor runs fast as sh*t! I don't know how he catches up with a robot! Hey it's Anime! Other than his sudden burst of speed this episode was a great filler. Armaldo was very moody though. I still don't understand why there was only one Anorith... but there were numerous Lilleps as well as numerous Cradilies.moreless
