  • About the series

It had wonderful acting for Ellen Burstyn.
  • No need for that

I like this show, but the over obsessive use of totally inconsequential flash backs really drive me up the wall. They are used to tell some backstory but the visuals are so much alike the here-and-now, often you simply don't know, if you're watching stuff that happened in the past or not. Also there really is zero value in them bringing the current story across. So why have them? I have no idea.

i like political shows, but this is one of the most watered down types i have seen in a while. the election stuff was good, but then it moves onto the political issues and kind of gets lost in what its trying to do. There are several better political shows out there - The first 4 seasons of the West Wing, Boss and the thick of it are all vastly superiormoreless

Political Animals is not on a mind blowing serious that will have anyone who watches addicted, but it is also a very legit, mature, and behind the scenes look at how elections/etc really are. I absolutely love the series and am beyond ready for another season. CONTINUE PLEASE!!(:

The Emmy Nominations Ballots Are Out: Let's Take a Look at Them! (2013 Edition)

We can better understand the Emmy nominations and eventual winners by looking at the nominations ballots, which the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences releases publicly. At the very least, they can be good for a laugh.
