I was wondering how they were going to have her run for president after her son betraying her to the journalist. After all, she was not going to win (most likely) after that report of how she planned her campaign while still in office. Now all those concern is over. She is running (potentially) against a representation of "all that is wrong with the Democratic party." So we can root for her as she goes against the Vice President rather than the incumbent President.
Though I am sad to see the president (potentially) go, but so glad about seeing Elaine run for president. Unless another twist occurs and they find the president.
On a small note, sad to see Susan's boss/ex-boyfriend get fired. However, I find Susan more valuable than him. So it is all good, but the next step is to get rid of Georgina. Please?moreless

If there is any lesson to take from Political Animals, I suppose it would be a reinforcement of that old adage about the best laid plans of mice and men going awry.
