All around great episode plus it features the deliciously beautiful Nicole De Boer, so it was great.
She plays Samantha Wallace a terminally ill woman whose father is committing murders using a special scarab. The scarab makes her fully healthy but it's only temporary. The more the scarab is used the more murders have to be committed.
This is one of those episodes where the "victims" play second fiddle to the story. Nicole's performance of Samantha is great. You even feel pity for the murderous father whose basically trying to keep his daughter alive when she's already dead.
The Legacy steps in of course to end matters but it's a story about the hard time people have in accepting death and how people will do anything to stay alive.moreless
A desperate man gets hold of an ancient piece of Egyptian scarab jewelry to save his terminally ill daughter, but at a high price. The artifact only helps the girl recover for a short period of time before another sacrifice of human life is needed, and Nick is the man's next target.moreless
