EDIT
The Big Fight
AIRED:
It's the Pope's birthday, and Pope has the unusual tradition of performing a dangerous stunt as part of the birthday celebrations, and this year Pope wants to fly (without wings or other aerial support). Ivan the Invincible, the 'meanest badass wrestler the world has ever seen' has arrived to see the Pope, who is a huge fan, and Pope wants Ivan to help him fly by throwing him into the air. Meanwhile, Father Nicholas has been desperately trying to find a present for the Pope, and in his haste he bursts into the room where Pope and Ivan are, but as Nicholas bursts through the door the door knocks out Ivan. Sister Penelope (the newsreading nun with curves that an hourglass would envy) sends up the event as if Father Nicholas had beaten Ivan in a bout, and Nicholas gets caught up in the hype, and set up for a rematch!moreless

  • Well, I didn't appreciate this episode.

    5.0
This episode seemed very weak to me, but maybe that's just my hatred of corny 'wrestling' shows tainting my opinion, but everything about this episode was heavy on cartoon type unreality, and low on credibility and wit. A kids cartoon has more to the storyline and more fun than this corny episode.

Once again though, there really is nothing for the hardline Catholics to get a bee in their bonnet about. Reality is totally abandoned, and the Vatican and Popetown have absolutely nothing in common, so once again, their ranting about episodes that have never even screened before now has only served to add fuel to the theory that they simply should have kept their mouths shut about the show in the first place.

Score by me: 5 out of 10. Should have dropped the brainless wrestler and the stupidly suicidal birthday pranks and come up with a decent plot!

Of 8 episodes screened so far, this one sucketh the mosteth!moreless
