  • Fletcher Godber and Mr Heslop go through the admittance procedure at chateau Slade, while getting settled in with the whole day to day basis of being in the nick.

    9.0
after a "Welcoming" note from Mackay, the 3 new inmates of Slade prison are given a number and deprived of their posessions. Fletch, tries to keep his boots, by saying to the doctor he has flat feet, but it's Godber who ends up managing the boots trick, they have a "norishing" lunch, cold grey and lukewarm, and finally a visit to the governor's office.

meanwhile, Fletch finds out the interest of the governor for tropical fish, which lands him a job not on the library or the kitchen as he was aiming for, but on the prison farm. very funny episode.moreless

You are an habitual criminal who accepts arrest as an occupational hazard and presumably accepts imprisonment in the same, casual manner. We therefore feel constrained to commit you to the maximum term allowed for these offences. You will go to prison for five years.
