  • Notes

    • Buster's video postcard for Arthur and D.W. arrives in a package labeled "Arthur Read 562 Main St. Elwood City." This matches the address seen in a previous episode of Arthur.

    • Show Promo: Buster tells viewers to hold onto their seats as he explores things in the country such as ranches and farms.

    • Wait! I forgot to tell you one last thing I learned in Salt Lake City: Buster explains that dinosaurs haven't lived in Salt Lake City for over 60 million years. One of the dinosaurs that once lived there was the allosaurus, the state dinosaur of Utah.

    • PBS Kids GO! - Oral Report - Repeat of a segment first shown in "The Giant Pumpkins"

  • Allusions

    • Clark: We haven't had snow like this in five years. We've been in a drought.
Salt Lake City has been experiencing drought conditions on and off. This episode was likely filmed in 2003, but as of October 13, 2004, residents had been asked to stop watering lawns. On October 18, it was reported that conditions were beginning to improve.

    • Clark Hirshi: The word "Mormon" is a nickname. A Mormon is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mormons live throughout the world. They believe that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer, but do not believe his sacrifice alone was enough to save them. They feel that in order to be Redeemed, one must strive to be like Jesus Christ. Their holy book is available to all for free, however, it also recently began being published commercially by Doubleday.
