Zordon told Kimberly that destroying Artistmole's palette would return the Ranger's and Ninjor's colors, however all Kimberly actually did to return the colors was shoot Artistmole in the stomach with her Blade Blaster.

On the 3/2/96 reairing of this episode on Fox Kids, the "Today on Power Rangers" segment was replaced by the second preview segment promoting the upcoming Zeo Serial Sneak Peeks.
A scene cut from this episode involved Kim having a heart-to-heart with her Uncle Steve, last seen in season 1's "Foul Play In The Sky" (played by the show's current story editor, Doug Sloan).
The morphing sequence for the Ninja Rangers' power is finally introduced. It features head-shots of the teens, getting transformed from normal, to their MMPR: The Move Ninjetti costume, then to their fully-face-covered show Ninja Ranger costumes.
This episode's end credits sequence features, instead of the standard bloopers, a scene cut from earlier in the episode, featuring Bulk & Skull getting their assignment from Lt. Stone to guard the Art Benefit items.
This episode marks the first appearance of the Ninja Megazord's cockpit, which would remain the same when in Ninja MegaFalconzord mode, as well.
This episode has not aired in the United States since March 2, 1996.
At the end of the episode Kimberly moves in with Aisha and her parents until the end of the school year, the idea being that she will join her Mother in Paris then. Later on in the series Kimberly leaves for another reason entirely in "A Different Shade of Pink (3)".
