Episode Summary

Zack grooms his young student to take part in a karate tournament, against an angry ward of Bulk & Skull. The Rangers face the Hatchasaurus monster, and though he's defeated quickly, he manages to repeatedly regenerate using his inner sentient heart-creature, known as the Cardiatron.

  • The Rangers face their most resilent opponent yet!

    I'm quite stunned that nobody has written an episode review for this show yet! I mean, this episode is 14 years old & yet it doesn't have any other review besides mine going for it! Not that I really mind of course, it allows me the opportunity to speak about the episode myself. By now Rita Repulsa has gotten sick of the routine where after she creates a monster, the Power Rangers destroy it! So Rita Repulsa decides to try something sneaky this time around! Instead of creating just a monster, she created a monster Within a monster named Cardiotron. The monster inside the monster named the Hatchasaurus allows the ugly monster to regenerate even after it has been destroyed! The Rangers are going to have to find a way to get inside Hatchasaurus & destroy Cardiotron before they can destroy Hatchasaurus for good! I loved seeing Jason battle with what is essentially the first Battlizer in history as he used the Green Ranger's shield & sword to help him fight! Jason was a great leader & if the newer episodes of "Power Rangers" can take a hint, they'd have more great leaders & rangers take up the fight against evil! That's why I wrote this review! Enough said, true believers! ;)moreless

    • During the first scene, watch up near the door to the Juice Bar. A large woman in pink and a guy in a striped shirt enter. Every time the camera cuts away and cuts back, despite no time passing, the pair RE-enter, for a total of three times. Edit
    • The first time Jason summons the Dragonzord he's in the Megazord cockpit even though the Megazord hasn't been formed yet. Edit
    • After the first fighting sequence the rangers get back to the command center. Then there all wearing different clothes than just before the first morphing sequence. Edit
