  • It seems the bad side of Kimberly is back.

    8.0
It was an overall enjoyable episode. The six teens opens up their individual club based on their interests. Out of all the six Power Rangers, it seems Kimberly's the odd person out. Personally I felt bad for her. I mean destroying a float she worked hard constructing was bad enough, but the fact she seemed neglect didn't seem like nobody was interested. From Zedd's laser scanner, he's at it again. For some reason I kinda enjoy the not-so-goody good Kim. I know she's been under these sorts of spells over the past episodes, but i thought this was funny. The way she said, "It's Morphin' Time!" was priceless. Knowing Kimberly she does have a sense of style and humor. And as things turned out in the end, more people started to acknowledge her.moreless
  • I hate it when they get manipulated by the enemy.

    8.8
This is similar to other episodes later on when the two girl Rangers who are close friends get pissed at each other for whatever reason. Here, it's Zedd's fault for poisoning Kim with jealousy. In Space, Cassie and Ashley fought about cleaning the Megaship. Lost Galaxy, Kendrix and May fought about a misunderstanding conncerning Damon's birthday. In the end, their friendshipis stronger than ever.

    • Lord Zedd: Do you see where your jealous heart has brought you, Pink Ranger? To your doom! There is nothing, NOTHING, anyone can do to save you now.

    • Kimberly: (to her communicator) Come in, Zordon.
Zordon: There is trouble, Pink Ranger. You are urgently needed to rendezvous with the others at the cityside of Angel Grove Park. In addition, you will need a special weapon to combat Zedd's monster. Alpha is beaming it to you now.
(the "special weapon" appears in Kimberly's right hand)
Kimberly: All right. So, what am I supposed to do with this thing?
Zordon: You must wrap it around the monster like a vine.
Kimberly: Well, thank goodness it's in my hands instead of that club-hogger Trini's.
Alpha: Ay-yi-yi! Good luck, Kimberly. Ay-yi-yi!
      Kimberly: It's Morphin' Time.

    • Bulk: LISTEN UP! We will now expose the Power Rangers' true identities. Turn it on, Skull.
Zack: You mean you think you've found out who they are?
      (Skull extracts his tape recorder)
Bulk: We'll just play this tape and see if we recognize the voices we heard. Roll it, Skull!
(Skull rolls it, but all we hear is squeaky sounds)
      Skull: NO WAY!!!
(he takes out the tape, which is all messed up)
      Skull: Oh. Faulty tape.
Bulk: Can't you do anything right?!

    • Mr. Kaplan: Well, thank goodness everyone figured out where to go. I, um, accidentally put the wrong location in the school paper, Kimberly.
Kimberly: It's okay, Mr. Kaplan. My friends didn't give up until they found me.
      (Mr. Kaplan sneezes hard)
      Kimberly: Bless you!
      Mr. Kaplan: Thank you.
(he straightens his toupee and leaves)

    • Tommy: Listen. Look. Sorry you got in a fight with Trini, Kim. (he hands Kimberly flowers that Ernie loaned him to give to her) Here. Maybe these'll help you get over it.
Jason: It's hard bein' in a hassle with your best friend.
Kimberly: Ya know what? I hate flowers, and Trini is not my best friend, okay?
(she takes her flowers and leaves)

    • Kimberly: All right, so you slimeballs actually have members in your club?
Bulk: Yeah! Lots of 'em, too.
Skull: 'Course, we had to bribe 'em with free food. But what the heck? Wanna join?
      Kimberly: Not in this lifetime.
Bulk: Too bad. 'Cause our 1st gig is to find the true identities of the Power Rangers.
Skull: Yeah. We heard 'em talking, and now all we hafta do is find voices that... match what we heard. (sticks his mic in front of Kimberly) Cool! Huh?
      Kimberly: Get a life, dimwit!
(she storms off in a huff)
Skull: She's definitely not a Power Ranger.

    • Bulk: (to Kimberly) You can't do much with a club of 1, can you, Miss Flower-Power?
      (he and Skull laugh)

    • Zack: (Knocks a Putty into a tree) You should branch out more!

    • Bloom of Doom: Welcome to MY little garden, Pink Ranger. I do hope you like it, since you'll be here for eternity!

  • NOTES (3)

    • This episode hasn't aired in the US since August 7, 1995.

    • Available in North America on the Power Rangers Power Playback - Classic Ranger Edition - "Pink Ranger" VHS.

    • A Zord battle against a giant (and slightly altered) Bloom of Doom went unused, supposedly involving Lokar's only Zyu2 appearance. It was cut due to the prominance of the original Megazord, rendering it impossible to re-edit to feature the Thunder Megazord. The altered Bloom would later appear in PRT's "Fire In Your Tank".
