Boom is an idiot. He makes Bulk & Skull look smart. This episode starts with him day dreaming that he is the Orange SPD Ranger and he saves the rangers who all hail him as a hero. Later, Boom's parents arrive. At least we see where Boom gets his looks from. They're as ugly as he is.

Boom's parents believe that he is not only a Power Rangers, but the leader of the Power Rangers. Boom persuades the rangers to go along with his story, and the rangers pretend that he is theri leader.

When the rangers are in trouble battling a monster, Boom's parents expect him to help. It would have been a perfect time for him to tell him that he's not a ranger. What does he do? He goes back to SPD base and comes back wearing a pathetic looking ranger uniform, and tries to help the rangers. Naturally he gets beaten. The rangers finally destroy the monster (without the zords). Boom then finally tells his parents that he's not a ranger, and they tell him that it's okay.

There had been a rumor going around that Boom was going to be the Omega Ranger. If he did become a real ranger, I would have stopped watching SPD.moreless

  • Trivia

    ADD TRIVIA
    • Despite how Tomars' device is supposed to transverse dimensions, it merely sends the Rangers to the satellite and back down to Earth in a different location, like a teleporter. Edit
    • Although after Tomars was deleted and Cruger says he will be back, he never really returns again ("Reflections (1)" only features a "Slate" version of Tomars). Edit
    • Boom, who tries repeatedly to avoid having to "become" a Ranger, manages to come up with his makeshift Orange Ranger costume in mere minutes (if he had the costume prepared prior, he should've been less inclined not to wear it), not to mention gets back to the Academy in record time to retrieve it.
