      • This is the first episode in which an unmorphed Ranger is badly injured and is rendered unconscious (This being Tommy)

      • When Bulk slides across the floor, you can clearly see the wheeled platform he is perched on.

      • When the rangers are blown away by Samurai Fan Man near the beginning, immediately aftward, footage of their unmorphed Zyuranger counterparts flying away is briefly seen on the viewing globe.

      • When the rangers gone back to battle the monster, some bikes appear behing them. (In Zyuranger, these were the battle bikes. They were never used in the American version for some reason though)

      • Squatt: This oughta shake her up! (he shakes the Fan Man's jar like crazy, and Kimberly, still inside, tries to hold on for dear life) Kimberly: Just wait! My friends will save me! Soon, I hope. (the Fan Man laughs as he looks inside) Fan Man: Ah, put a lid on it! (he places the lid back on his jar) Fan Man: No one can save ya now.

      • Billly: Zordon, how do we battle this evil monster? Trini: And how are we gonna get Kimberly out of that jar? Zordon: Use your Zords, and you can defeat him. When the Fan Man is defeated, Kimberly will be free. Trini: But we need Tommy's help. Jason: And the power of the Dragonzord. Zack: He still doesn't look any better. Jason: Where are the creeps that did this to Tommy?! Billy: And trapped Kimberly? Zordon: My sensors have tracked them to the Putty Bowl restaurant. Observe. (the Viewing Globe shows the Fan Man having lunch at said place with Squatt and Baboo) Squatt: The dimension in the jar'll disappear any minute, and so will Kimberly. Baboo: (peeks into the jar) And then we'll make the other Power Rangers disappear. Gettin' hungry, Kimberly? Kimberly: Let me go! Please! Let me go. Alpha: Poor Kimberly. Jason: We're outta here!

      • Fan Man(To the Rangers): My Samurai Lance will knock you into the next galaxy!

      • Tommy: Man, Bulk and Skull should get their own TV show.

      • Kimberly: It all started last night when I had this dream that Rita was my wicked stepmother. Tommy: Ooh! Ugh! That's creepy! Kimberly: (laughs) Oh, you said it. Ever since then, it's been one totally bogus thing after another. I'm sure glad this day's almost over with. (at Rita's palace, Rita has overheard Kimberly's conversation) Rita: "Over with"?! (laughs) Fat chance, kid! (laughs)

      • Kimberly: (to Tommy) Can you believe I have to show Mr. Kaplan my pep rally plans in 10 minutes? (pulls out a very muddy paper) Oh, no. It looks like something I drew when I was 3.

      • Kimberly: (After breaking a mirror at the beginning of the episode.) Oh no! Seven years bad luck.

      ADD NOTES

      • Look closely during the arrival of the Rangers at the Putty Bowl Cafe, and you'll see the Red, Black, and Blue Battle Bikes in a battle scene. It's the only time they appear on the show, and are only there due to a mistake in using the Zyuranger footage. The Rangers will indeed get motorcycles eventually, but not until season 3's "Follow That Cab!"

      • One of a few rare episodes in which the Dragonzord-Fighting Mode, the Megazord, the Mega-Dragon Ultrazord, and the separate Dinozords (minus Pterodactyl) are all seen fighting the same monster (though not necessarily at the same time.)
