I can't believe Lord Zedd has finally defeated the Power Rangers. Well, I'm not gonna let it happen. If it takes every last ounce of my strength, I will see to it that the Power Rangers are triumphant, if it's the last thing I ever do!

On the 3/18/96 reairing of this episode on Fox Kids, the "Today on Power Rangers" segment was replaced by the ninth segment of the Zeo Serial Sneak Peeks (#8 was part of "Final Face-Off"). In it, Dr Jewel and Dr Kender discuss the 'event' in space, which she figures is just meteorite activity, which he denies.

In non-US airings, the Shogunzords are called "the Ancient Zords" all the way until episode 3 of this mini-series.

Tommy is the only Ranger to appear morphed in this episode, though they all do go to Ninja Ranger mode.
