Episode Summary

EDIT
With the private detective business running slow, Bulk & Skull take on jobs as "tribal" security guards at a Hawaiian luau at Ernie's Beach Club. With this event planned, Tommy finally gets up the courage to ask Kat out on a date to it. But Prince Gasket & Archerina are back in town, and spoil their plans by growing giant and finally proving their worth as heirs to the Machine Empire throne. Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • When Gasket and Archerina grow, they do so with a red streak effect, rather than the blue triangle effect normally used when Orbus is used to make monsters grow.

      • In previous episodes, Queen Machina praised Gasket and his evil-doings. However, when Gasket leaves at the end of the episode she says "Well, I hope you've learned something", acting like she disowns him.

      • When Jason pilots Pyramidas he is breifly shown not in Pyramidas' cockpit but in the Super Zeo Megazord cockpit. then when The Zeo Ultrazord is formed he (along with the rest of the rangers) are in Pyramidas' cockpit.

    • QUOTES (4)

      • Tanya: Well, you two sure look happy!
        Rocky: Yeah, where've you been?
Tommy: Just to the movies; Nice, quiet, safe date.
Kat: And no Cogs throwing popcorn and sitting in the audience!
Tommy: Like I said, normal, boring time.
        Kat: Boring?!
        Tommy: Just kidding!

      • Gasket: Are you sure the Rangers are all here, Klank?
Klank: I'm fairly certain, your highness.
Gasket: Klank, your incompetence is surpassed only by your ineptness!

      • Mondo: I have a few things I'd like to discuss with you, Gasket!
Gasket: I'd love to stay and catch up with you, Father, but Archerina and I have to be somewhere else...forever! Bye-bye! (he and Archerina disappear)

      • Rocky: (looking at Bulk and Skull who are dressed as Hawaiian warriors) Nice skirts, boys.

    • NOTES (3)

      • Depending on who you ask, the cut on Tommy (Jason David Frank)'s face came from either a wild night in a mosh pit, or a karate accident on the set. The show excuse is "falling out of bed reaching for alarm clock."

      • This episode features the final appearances of the Zeo Megazord, Super Zeo Megazord, Warrior Wheel, Red Battlezord, Pyramidas, and all related components and combinations. They're never destroyed onscreen, just never mentioned (aside from the next episode) or seen again.

      • This episode marks the final appearances of Prince Gasket and Archerina. Reportedly, their costumes fell into disrepair pretty quickly. The characters, though, are as far as is known, still alive somewhere...
