Given that Vella was originally kidnapped by Crazar (who was a Fearcat), how did she end up as Moltor's prisoner?
Spencer makes the comment about the volcano being uninhabitable, which leads to Mack volunteering to go alone. But as we see, Moltor had Vella prisoner within it. So either it IS inhabitable, or Mercurians can withstand the heat. So why didn't Tyzonn offer to go with him? Similarly, the Rangers had no real problems being in the volcanic area way back in "The Underwater World", did they? Why make it an issue now, when, unlike then, they aren't going to explore but to kick butt?
If Vella is Mercurian, shouldn't she be able to escape from her bindings and cage by turning into mercury?
When Will is about to get back into the first fight with Magmador, Ronny warns him that the monster will copy his Drive Defender. However, Magmador had already done that, and Will went back into the fight with the Drive Defender. Magmador would not waste the time to recopy the same weapon.
Mack: (About Magmador) I'll take him myself!
Will: Mack, we're in this together!
Mack: But it won't matter if I get hurt!
Moltor: Good to know! (Attacks Mack)
Rose: (Holds the Jewels up to the mummy) If I'm right, then the jewels should... (The Jewels' energy knocks everyone down) Do something like that!
Norg: Hey, boss. What you doing?
Flurious: Shaking things up a bit for Moltor. Don't bother me.
Norg: Oh, what should I do?
Flurious: Go pick the lint from your naval for all I care.
Will: Mack, you got to quit putting yourself out there like that. You're gonna get hurt.
Mack: I thought you could take him.
Will: Yeah and I thought computers were supposed to be smarter than humans.
Mack: You were human once, but you lost that because you're obsessed with power. How could you give up the most precious gift there is -- the gift of humanity?
Moltor: Being human means nothing!
Mack: I guess that answers my question.
Flurious: Brother, you are in bad shape. Why don't you sit down and rest?
Moltor: Oh, thank you. You're kind.
Flurious: Yes. But not kind enough.
(freezes Moltor and shatters him)
Andrew: We haven't finished our conversation.
Mack: Let me guess. You wanna take away my Tracker.
Andrew: Maybe I should. You keep making rash and irresponsible decisions.
Mack: I went into the volcano because I'm the most expendable. If something happens to me, you can build another -- Mack version two or three. I'm not human, and I'll never will be.
Vella: Thank you for the fish. It was delicious. It was very kind of you.
Norg: I caught it with my feet.
This is the first time the Corona Aurora has appeared outside of flashbacks since "Kick Into Overdrive (2)".
This is the first episode since PRSPD's "Samurai" to take place in Japan, the country of orgin for Super Sentai, the show that Power Rangers takes its footage from.
This episode features the final appearances of the Flashpoint Megazord, Crane Driver, Hovertek Cycle, Defender Vest, Drill Blaster and the SHARC. Also the final appearance of Sentinel Knight in his Sentinel Sword form.
Magmador is based on PRDT's Mezodon Megazord.
Norg references Tyzonn pulling a stick out of his foot, from "One Fine Day".
This episode marks the destruction of Moltor's Volcano lair, which is destroyed by Flurious with the power of the Blue Sapphire.
In addition to the Blue Sapphire, Flurious now possesses the Corona Aurora.
The question of why the jewels looked different from the jewels seen in the first episode is answered here. When Flurious brings the Blue Sapphire to the crown, it changes to the diamond shape from the first episode (the Blue Sapphire represents the Blue Corona Diamond).
This episode marks the destruction of Moltor by his own brother Flurious, thus Moltor is the only destroyed main villain this season to be defeated by someone other than the Rangers.
Debuted on Toon Disney on its regular day and time of Monday Night at 8:00pm E&P. ABC Kids debut date: Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 12:30pm ET/11:30am PT.
