The Space Rangers are stunned when they encounter the Psycho Rangers, recently created by the newly-brainwashed Astronema and secretly drawing tremendous energy off of Dark Specter. These five evil Rangers scour Angel Grove, listening for the telltale sound of our heroes' communicators to alert them of the unmorphed teens' location. When Zhane ends up captured by them, the Space Rangers are forced to come out of hiding to face the Psychos, who prove to be more than their equals in both skill and ruthlessness.moreless

Even though the psycho rangers were evil, I liked them. They were cool bad and proved a real challenge to Andros and the others. I never get tired of this episode, i have it on tape. I think i liked all the pyscho rangers, no indivual was my favorite, i hope they are featured in future episodes.

This episode shows the beggining of the physco ranger era that spans so long they even appear in the next season too. The physco rangers are exactly the same as the power rangers but even stronger and evil too.moreless

I believe these evil rangers are the best the show has ever had because they actually look a lot more like the rangers then previous evil rangers. Now even though they're evil they look totally awsome and "look" so much better than previous evil rangers too. Something that makes the physco rangers really interesting is that they stay on the series longer then any of the other evil rangers in the past and future of the series, they stay so long that they even end up going on the next season as well. So all an all this episode is one of the coolest in the series.moreless
