    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • When aired in original broadcast order, it appears as though the attic of the Clock Tower goes from being clean and uncluttered in "Uniquely Trip", to cobwebbed and messy here. Not to mention, Katie's never been up there before in this episode, but already had been in "Uniquely Trip". In production order, the situation provides tighter continuity (not to mention her fear of erasing her family from the future in "Future Unknown" works better with this coming first, since she learns firsthand here how history can be easily altered!)

      • The mutant, unlike all others in this season, is not shown shrinking down, or being recaptured by the Time Force team. It likely happened offscreen, sure, but this would be the only time they failed to show such a thing happening to anything other than a robot. Also factor in the fact that in production order, this mutant is absent from the "clock tower freezer" in "Jen's Revenge."

    • QUOTES (1)

    • NOTES (5)

      • This episode first aired at a special time (following the premiere of the previous episode) of 11:30am E/P. This marked the first time since MMPR season 3's "A Friend in Need" (2) and (3) that two new regular episodes of PR had premiered in the same day.

      • The footage of the Rangers fighting Cyclobots after Katie wakes up is all recycled from the episode "A Blue Streak," although it's cut and edited together differently here.

      • The notion of an English Colony in Revolution-era California is nothing new to Power Rangers. Colonial Angel Grove was featured in Season 2's "Return Of The Green Ranger". This episode seems to reference that weird bit of alternate history.

      • The mutant of the day, a blue robotic cop-type creature, is never named nor credited (nor shown being Chrono-Frozen).

      • This was the 8th episode of the season produced, though held off and aired later, due to its "single-story" nature. It was made between "Short-Circuited" and "Jen's Revenge".
