Cardiotron is never shown to be destroyed, yet Hatchasaurus doesn't return after being destroyed by the White Tiger Thunderbolt.
In "Birds of a Feather" Hatchasaurus spoke only in grunts and roars, but in this episode he speaks perfect English.
When the Rangers are preparing for the final attack the "Power Sword" appears in place of the "Thunder Saber".
The Rangers refer to the Thunder Megazord as just "Megazord".
When Hatchasaurus blasts the Thunder Megazord, briefly the original Megazord appears in its place (while other episodes use this trick with the Megazord mostly obscured by an explosion, in this episode the Megazord can be seen clearly before it's blasted).
Hatchasaurus goes from having horns, to not, repeatedly throughout the battle.
No one seems to recall the Hatchasaurus from its previous appearance in "Birds of a Feather", nor even how to properly destroy it!
Terror Blossom: Be on the watch, Power Rangers. I'm about to give new meaning to the phrase: "Stop and smell the roses"!
Hatchasaurus(After growing): What a lovely day for a stroll through downtown Angel Grove!
This is the first time a "monster of the day" has created (or in this case, re-created) another monster.
This is the only episode in which a monster (Hatchasaurus) survives the Thunder Megazord's finishing move (Thunder Saber). The next monster who will survive a finishing move (this time Shogunzord's) will be Hydro Hog, in "Hogday Afternoon (2)".
This is the first of only 2 episodes in which the White Tigerzord destroys a monster (this being Hatchasaurus) with its thunderbolt attack.
Jetting, the ability for a Ranger to teleport in such a way as to be able to see where they need to land, is introduced.
Skull (Jason Narvy) does not appear in this episode, making it the one and only time until PRLG Bulk will appear in a PR episode solo.
We learn in this episode that when a monster is destroyed, its pieces usually disintegrate.
Footage of Jason (Austin St. John), Trini (Thuy Trang), and Zack (Walter Jones) for this episode is recycled from "Two Heads Are Better Than One".
