  • Coolest flashback episode ever.

    8.0
Truth be told, I had to look for the Six Million Dollar Man around before referring back to this episode. Mack's quote was REAL funny, and it recaps some of the funny moments. And sure, it has its goofs, but it's a perfectly fine episode. Best flashback episode I ever watched.

The craziness was that a few episodes before this, Mack was revealed to be an android. So the storyline here sets up the season finale and the culmination of Operation Overdrive. Too bad. And I really liked the season. It had its bad moments, though.

But still, this episode earned a place in my heart just for being a GREAT flashback episode.moreless
  • Dumb and boring

    3.4
Mack whores himself out for a clip show. I'm really getting tired of his lame musings about being an android. Sophie, Alpha, and Circuit were never this lame. Clip shows are normally boring, but sometimes characters actually learn something from their adventures. Nothing happened until the last two minutes when Rose randomly figured something out. And these people still can't act. This season is the worst. I was hoping Mack would at least look back on those times and figure out that Mr. Hartford really cares about him, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon. What a loser.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • The clips shown during this episode were ostensibly stored within Mack's CPU. However, some of the scenes occurred when Mack wasn't there, or had any other way of knowing what had happened. Also, the clips, if they were recorded by Mack and came from Mack's memory, shouldn't have shown Mack unless he had a mirror with him.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Dax: This is great. It's like watching a sci-fi marathon.

    • Dax: I think the chicken came first, because you need a chicken to lay an egg.
Ronny: No, no, see, but, like, the chicken that lays that egg -- No, the chicken that laid that egg came from an egg.
Dax: Yes, I knew you were gonna come out with that.
Rose: Guys, you're both wrong. The pteradactyl came first, almost 65 million years ago before the chicken or the egg ever existed.

    • Mack: I'm a robot, remember? I have it all in my CPU. Rose, you want to plug me in? I always knew I'd come in handy.
Rose: You're the key to what has happened to us all year and who has what part of the Corona Aurora, so be quiet and let your hard-drive memory play it all back for us.
Mack: Okay, well, please turn off your cell phones, and there will be no talking during the movie.

    • Mack: I feel like the $6 million DVD player.

  • NOTES (4)
