The Ranger teens are involved with a stage play of Rumpelstiltskin at Angel Grove High. Kim's grandmother's antique spinning wheel is used as a prop, which leaves it in a position to be captured by Rita's goons, who turn it into the evil Wheel Of Destruction. Can the Rangers put a stop to the giant wheel without ruining Kim's family heirloom?moreless

Kimberly Hart, Pink Mighty Morphin Ranger
Jason Lee Scott, Red Mighty Morphin Ranger
Trini Kwan, Yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger
Billy Cranston, Blue Mighty Morphin Ranger
Tommy Oliver, Green Ranger
This is the first time something that belongs to one of the rangers is turned into a monster (besides Ticklesneezer who was in a dream sequence).
When Tommy is tripped by the Putties, he puts his arms at side even though he hasn't been restrained yet. He had enough time to get to his bag to get his Communicator.
Zordon told the Rangers to morph to the Command Center, not teleport.
When Zordon tells Tommy about the battle in the park, his voice sounds drastically different.
In the play sequence at the end, Kimberly repeatedly called out "Rumplestiltsken," but the point of the story is that her character doesn't know his name.
After the Ultrazord destroyed the Wheel of Misfortune, the Megazord was shown instead.
Bulk: Give us a smooch, fair babe?
Kimberly: Yes, of course.
(Bulk puckers up close to her, until...)
Kimberly: But first, ya have to spin all the straw into gold!
(she nudges Bulk)
Bulk: Get ready ta' pucker up, fair dame.
(he gathers the straw, until his pants rip, and everyone laughs)
Skull: That's it, Bulk! Way to bear your soul to your audience!
(Bulk furiously grabs his partner)
Bulk: Come on, chum, and let's get outta here!
(the audience laughs some more as Bulk and Skull exit stage right)
Kimberly: The end.
(the audience applauds)
Bulk: (as Rumpelstiltskin in the play) Never fear, fair babe. I said I'd be here, and here I am.
Kimberly: Took ya long enough.
Kimberly: (as the fair maiden in the play) Now there are 3 piles of straw to spin into gold. Oh, woe is me. Where's Rumpelstiltskin?
Kimberly: Oh, where's Rumpelstiltskin?
(still no answer, much to Kimberly's dismay)
Kimberly: Rumpelstiltskin! Did ya hear me?!
(the audience laughs, and the rest of the teens push Bulk into the stage)
Trini: Hurry up! Get out there.
Bulk: I'm goin'! I'm goin'! Take a chill pill, will ya?!
Mr. Kaplan: Where's your costume, Bulk?
Bulk: Hey. Just addin' a little touch of the 90s, Mr. Kaplan.
Mr. Kaplan: (checks his watch) Get on with it, Bulk, if you don't mind.
Tommy: Have you guys seen the spinning wheel? It's not in the classroom.
Bulk: Oh, yeah. See, I was broke, so Skull here decided to spin me some money, so I could buy a soda.
(he and Skull guffaw, much to Tommy's dismay)
Tommy: Hey! I'm not kiddin' around, Bulk. I mean it. Did you see it?
Bulk: No! I didn't see it. Ya goody-good. What would I want with the stupid spinning wheel, anyway?
Kimberly: Bulk, be careful! You're such a clod.
Bulk: She's makin' me mess up my lines!
(he spins the spinning wheel very fast)
Kimberly: Bulk? Not so fast!
(the fast-spinning wheel blows Mr. Kaplan's toupee off, making Bulk guffaw at it!)
(the wheel suddenly breaks)
(she looks at the busted wheel)
Kimberly: Oh, no! You ruined my grandmother's spinning wheel!!! What is she gonna say?!
Mr. Kaplan: Honestly, Bulk. Come on, kids. Let's take a break before somethin' else gets broken.
Bulk: But it's so bent outta shape, Kimberly!
Kimberly: This happens to be very important to me.
(she sets off in a huff)
Tommy: Man! Why'd I put my Communicator in the bag!?
Tommy: Zordon, what's goin' on?
Zordon: A battle rages on the other side of the park, but more power is needed. I have told Jason to bring all the Zords together to form Ultrazord. If this fails, the world is doomed.
Tommy: I'm on my way.
Tommy: You clay-brains are unbelievable!
First useage of the Ultrazord, a combo between the MegaDragonzord and Titanus.
The first time, and it's still a rarity on the show, that the team faces a monster which lacks any humanoid form.
The episode title is a play on the long running gameshow "Wheel of Fortune".
