In the fifth episode, Nigel's team goes all the way back to the Carboniferous period, to capture the world's biggest land-dwelling arthropods... unfortunately, there's a forest fire threatening to turn all of Nigel's plans to ash.

"Prehistoric Park's" fifth episode has been heavily influenced by the second program of "Walking With Monsters" series, where the same disaster - a forest fire - takes place and destroys the Carboniferous world. This idea was weak back then, and it is weak now. The world of Carboniferous is like a giant swamp, damp and wet; a forest fire would not be much of a threat whatever the scientific staff of the Impossible Pictures think.

However, forest fire aside, this episode is actually reasonably good, and once again, Nigel does not bring every animal he comes across over into the modern world for a change. That alone is a monumental break-through for the script writers, not even the Titanosaurs and T-Rex siblings stealing the limelight again can ruin that. Another 8 out of 10, to say otherwise.moreless
